Sheās a fantastic platform. Hope you can find what feels good to you for the least amount of $$$. Youāll have a blast on track regardless!
It can be hard to tell whatās what when you 1st get on here. This thread however has the most straightforward best advice for anyone looking to do more than...
Things vary quite a bit from State to State. Which is a beautiful thang. Youād make a good Floridian brother!
Is the MX5 available there @Craig172 ? At only 2300 lbs, you really donāt need tons of HP to have fun. Especially if you live close to some twisty roads :)
I loved these:

I have adjustable control arms now but these are easier for an alignment shop to adjust & served me well.
I love having the flexibility on any sports car. Camber plates are the most popular way to do this & relatively inexpensive. My MX5 didnāt need it. But this one does. Go for it amigo. Sounds like you have track experience and will appreciate having that option.
No mine came with the standard wheels on every 3.0 premium. But so many great options, I got the Apex 18s.

I have. Twice. But if youāre referring to Toyoguard, carbon fiber mirror caps, iPhone charging kit, etc. I did have to pay for those. The price looked the same as my zip code search. With the exception of tax, title, tag, dealer fee.
If it was the individual dealer (not on the Toyota window...
Dude, he should have given you a point by long ago! And⦠how the hell is that almost hitting him ?. Guess I should be kicked off any/every track Iāve ever been on.
Love Evoās rational. But without his mechanical background, I just ask the mechanics or pro drivers at our local Homestead and Sebring tracks. I switched to Liqui Molly 5-30. However, I donāt think you need to rush out and change your 0-20 unless youāre having an issue.
And thanks to @Tsuki8...
Right on āļø
For me, Iām not worried a bit about using a higher viscosity that other race guys (pro or amateur) use in their B58 track cars - here in hot as balls Florida. I donāt think 0-20 will hurt either. It simply doesnāt fit my need best. Bryan (Razorlab) has a great build page if anyone...
Fuel savings, legal, one size fits all. I get it.
If I never varied from OEM Iād have a lot shorter track days. Brake pads, tires, you name it. Lot of common sense can go a long way for individual use. This applies to more than just vehicles ;)
What Rock said. Enjoy the ride amigo & welcome to the club! You could stay off the highways if you really wanted but you donāt have to. This car (engine) is ready to go :)
If you donāt want to wait, simply pound the pavement. I did that for 2 cars (broken record) and youāll easily find a dealer willing to sell one in transport (allocated) to their dealership. Times have improved since I bought mine. I have friends buying Vetts and more rare track cars at MSRP. So...
Maybe yours is different but⦠typically they provide very little to no improvement. However the sound (with windows up) and the looks, kudos! Welcome to the club ?
