Yeah, I don't want her to overheat. And definitely don't want to smoke tires. But that little extra "boost" coming out of an apex is a beautiful thang. Or extra power on the straights... :)
Love your knowledge on this stuff! Because I know nothing about shipping out an ECU and all the stuff that goes with it. With that said, I love tracking this bad boy and my JB4 tune with Jessie feels incredible (and smooth). Maybe I got lucky and/or just really happy with the small gains running...
His seats are sooooo sick!!!!! I want them so badly but know I'll eventually put a 5 point in, and yes a Hans device (tons to choose from), when I do. The really cool thing, thanks to @DarkZupra's build, my wife is really opening up to his garage setup ?. I want the flooring and all the nice...
As long as the issue is unrelated to whatever you're trying to fix under warranty, you should be fine. I had a broken window actuator on my MX5 and they fixed it. Again, my catless downpipe (for example) had nothing to do with the issue. But that's just an example... and I've put lots of track...
How about something like this? Saw it on that other link you sent. Doesnāt look too obtrusive and could perhaps get the 5 point harness done ??āāļø. Thinking for myself and love your seats bro!!!!
Any suggestions or advice I should tell the dealership for the appointment? I want to keep my current alignment but just clear the codes. I would think thatād be self explanatory butā¦. Anything else I should be more specific about (Thursday appt)? Thx man and so happy for ya!!!!
Definitely depends on what you want to do! Spot on⦠Who says you have unpopular views? You track and I love to hear your opinions! I couldnāt be happier with the way my car feels and tracks right now. The computer may be pissed off and itās true I did rush my mechanic and alignment shop to make...
Mine is just a steering angle sensor, post track alignment and the alignment shop I went to uses snap on, which was unable to do the reset needed. Weāre thinking that sensor triggers a lot more, shutting down similar āprotectiveā functions, or so it seems. Iāve got an appointment with BMW and...
I used Meryl who owns her own company and uses her own drivers. She will broker out if you need something ASAP and all her drivers are busy. But thatās about it. Her number is 833-627-8351. If they donāt put her through, her cell is 954-661-0672. She and her company are wonderful!!!! They will...
Thatās a lotta Sās dude! ? Youāre absolutely right. Itās a personal thing for sure. A true pro driver can get in a stock Supra and drive circles around me 4sho! But every pro driver that Iāve talked to over the years, had me put sway bars on all the way around. Similar to @Rocksandblues telling...
I hope @underdonk and I get this solved real quick! I drove mine all weekend at Homestead with everything turned off. She did great!!!! But I would like to have all those warning notices turned off. And ABS would definitely be nice. My biggest fear was any of the nannies turning on and upsetting...
Balance and rotate⦠Love those words!!!! My last day at Homestead speedway was on a fully wet track on my (dare I say it againā¦) Maxxis Victra RC-1 tires and I loved every minute of it. Of course itās a personal thing and the more seat time you get, you can drive any car on track. But my biggest...
Anyone have a reliable shop or know the Toyota part numbers for the above items? I used a BMW site and those are the BMW stock numbers⦠Iām not in a dire rush for them but would like to purchase from some place that has it in stock. I can probably locate the right lower tie rod, since thatās an...
One sensor off can trigger the others. Many of the repair shops use Snap On brand computers, which are awesome, but canāt do everything for our BMW cars. Iām currently in the same boat with a steering angle sensor, same error codes on my dash. Toyota and BMW have the Hunter alignment computer to...
I use a high temp caliper grease for track pads. You probably wonāt need that for street and they will never stick again for you. But if youāre interested, there are tons on the market. And in general, probably already said on this thread, softer street pad = less dust, race pad = tons of dust.
