Yeah, I hope itās not something like that. I would have thought Toyota might have told me if that was the case⦠but Iām not sure if they even tried
Yeah, had Thursday appt, they somehow forgot that Supraās needed a special mechanic to work on it (despite 2 phone call reminders ?) and I had to come back the next day. Friday the Supra tech didnāt know what to make of all those SPL parts, unsure how to do the steering angel reset or worried...
Yes! I ordered that from the Naples dealer who was cheaper than this dealer I got my panties in a wad about. Sorry to vent brother. I absolutely love this car!! And you are completely right. This is not a common thing for our cars. Luckily Iāve found the fix, thanks to everyone on here and...
My exact reason for doing so on track! Probably originally heard that from you, lol. And found great info on the Apex section on this forum. What a great selection in that size⦠insane!!!!
Not long. Itās like spraying on a rubbery epoxy substance. Most claim it will last about a year. I like the idea of trying different colors, not spending a lot of money on a wheel Iām not that fond of anyway. It sure looks better to me. Lastly, itās just a street tire and wheel in my mind. So if...
True. However, not my intent. I do think this is an advantage of a car going through a few years/cycles. The more aftermarket people get more parts, the better! Especially if/when something does come up. So, would I want a brand-new BMW model or this Z4 Supra? I'd pick this one for sure...
I would go with the one that has the biggest market for computer/software updates if you get a track alignment ? (can you tell where my current focus is?). And the lighter, smaller car ofc :flame:
Was supposed to get my computer reset and now this, lol. Found out on another thread that not every State gets theirs replaced with a zero deductible via insurance. Iāve got someone coming out Wednesday to replace it. But damnnnnnnnā¦. always something when youāre having fun. Sebring this weekend...
Happy for you new owner! I havenāt been this excited about a new car in a long time⦠Glad others are feeling the same. Most cars Iāve had have just been track tools, if you will. This beauty drives so well in town and on track, and just has a different feeling to her. Not sure if any of you have...

I did my stock wheels and love how they turned out. Just food for thoughtā¦
I think the last 3 responses were spot on @Levophed. The car by itself is a blast. Go do your free track day! If you want to do something down the road, ask the dealer. Weāre in FL, so at least no one is sniffing our tailpipe or dishing out fines. If you wanted to do an exhaust for example...
Few more parts added thanks to my awesome mechanic. I had an appointment today and called Toyota twice to make sure they had a āSupraā technician available (previous issue)⦠and of course Iāll have to drop her back off tomorrow ? They were not available ātodayā to hook her up to the computer and...
Nice!!!!! Is that brake master cylinder brace something you guys highly recommend? Iām really enjoying the solid feel from my upgraded SPL parts, extra adjustments now available and hopefully preventing future part failure. Amazed how fragile (look and feel of) the Toyota OEM parts are compared...
Thatās what I do. And he saves me tons of money by telling the big Toyota or BMW dealers what needs to be diagnostically, if/when I have to go in there to use their computer services.
I have both and am going to the dealer today for a computer reset. Luckily you and I are in Florida. I have no idea how far up your tailpipe the other States get, but you can be free here in FLoRidia my friend. Yes I will pay for an hour or two of service hours because I created this issue. But...
