I have an Xbox One (or whatever the newest version is) only because I didn’t have to wait for a PS5 whenever these things came out. I really need to dust my wheel off and just get a PS5. I never play the damn Xbox anyways ?
My 2022 Supra was the 1st time I’ve paid MSRP for a car. So glad I didn’t pay more. And kudos to you guys who actually paid under. That being said, I still think the Supra is a great value/bang for the buck!
So it would shift for me in manual in 1st and 2nd gear when I had all those dadgum chassis & steering angle reset codes going on. Once someone used Techstream (the Toyota software), it no longer did that. I can now hold my revs in manual. It was just one of the many quirks when the car was in...
Always glad when you throw in your 2 cents brother! Seeing your post prior to purchase helped me decide this car is indeed trackable and not just a smart Toyota PR stunt. That and the fact this car comes with a have fun turn all the nannies button off was a huge selling point!
Dude…. That does...
Interesting ? My wife hit the rev limit on track (it’s been a while for her) a few times this past weekend while I was riding shotgun. It didn’t upshift but it did cut power, thankfully. We had everything turned off, if that makes a difference?!?
I haven’t had the issue yet. No rocks in my rotors. And I’ve spent 3 track weekends so far full of rocks and rubber. I’ll definitely bend mine closer if it does happen though. Watch, because I said that, it’s going to happen now ?
I hear ya and have felt those suckers come on at high speeds. It wasn’t dangerous but it was obtrusive as hell. It definitely will cut your apex speed and eat through brakes faster than intended. Thanks to Toyota, you can hold that button down for about 3 seconds and turn everything off.
Thanks...
That is AWESOME and thank you for this incredibly helpful thread!!!! My mechanic said screw it and is doing the same process. If Toyota can’t do it, we can now (or my mechanic in my case ?).
The Florida NASA chapter was great! They flipped me to the HPDE3 (can pass anywhere) group after one run. Just talk to your local chapter prior to that free track day :)
I’m running on Maxxis Victra RC-1 and like to start off with about 28-30psi. As the day/track starts to heat up, I like to keep the pressure betweet 34-36psi. The reason I check before and after are because the conditions can vary. Sometimes (especially on other brands) the pressure can creep up...
Definitely try them. As long as they are both the same in the rear (treadwear and brand), should be good to go.
This is what I like to run in town and year round on all our cars...
The fact you went to Bradenton to test your new ride out is awesome! Appreciate your real world, plain and simple write up/post on this subject. When do you plan on adding Sebring to your checklist and see what else your new toy can do? ? Hit me up anytime you’re considering it. At least until...
Wife’s 1st time driving the Supra. After a full a day at Sebring, she thought it had more power (that’s an understatement) and as much grip as our S2000 ?, which was a dedicated track car! I’m thrilled to say the least ?
My passenger window goes ½ way down if attempted to put it up. I have to inch it up very carefully and it’s pretty close to almost closed. Now I got to deal with these guys again @Xproplayer. Totally dreading it! But at least I can reproduce it easily.
Have you tried a different dealer? I’m...
Absolutely I’m in the Ft. Myers area. Send me a PM if you’re in the Lee or Collier area ?? Great mechanic/shop here (Fuji-San) and another if you’re closer to Naples.
