I decided to get upgraded SPL parts for the car. Now that I have an adjustable control arm from SPL and previously purchased Versus camber plates (still in the box):

Lookin good & love your “location” (as I’ve said b4) but now you’re not alone:

Meanwhile mine is currently in the shop getting those “fine” breathable devices...
If you brake heavily and repeatedly or live in the mountains, you may have to flush it more often. If tracking, DOT4 fluid would be best and flush before or after each session would make sense. However, no one is going to boil their OEM brake fluid from just driving around town. So simply add...
Didn’t realize y’all do that for drag. Guess you do go faster ? than the average weekend track rat. So, makes sense if anything ever goes sideways… Mega cool @frankenm ?
That’s awesome dude!!!! Appreciate you mentioning the SPL upgrades. Mine are being put on now with sway bars & springs. Will throw the pads and tires on closer to October track day. Even with a lot more weight than my MX5, I can’t wait to try it at Sebring and compare.
I want an EOS manifold someday just because those temp drops @zrk has mentioned is insane! And the power those drag kids are able to put down w/out blowing up their cars is nutZ ?
But back to this thread. Any ideas or quick fix you sell for a trunk divider so my sun shade (for example) doesn't...
Huh.... Difference in opinion doesn't = misinformation.
EV cars are good in their own way. Are they good for everyone? Not in my opinion and definitely not mandatory by 2035. It was a pretty shocking article to me. Hence this thread. I was curious what others thought. Great input so far.
I love S2Ks! And you have two. Something to agree on ? I love intelligent debate man! I don’t think any one person knows it all. Hence everyon’s opinions are important. It’s never helpful listening to only one side, imo. Gavin Newsom may be the smartest man alive and no one should question his...
Kind of my tongue and cheek reply to not enough to make me want to wait and not buy my 2022. I’m sure any suspension tweaks are minimal at best and remember reading something about power delivery uphill while turning ?. I think this car handles tremendously on the street and has a ton of power...
Agree! Long trips with an EV definitely wouldn't be my thing. For short in town commutes, it would be nice! As long as the price of charging (my electric bill) wasn't severely impacted - as in significant increase in cost per kilowatt. And if they wouldn't use as much energy as my two AC units...
I haven't heard the problem yet. Probably not going fast enough with the windows fully down. My AC works great!!!! But I did buy the AWE diffusers. They come with a nice lollypop too. Still need to put them on...
I bet a crack habit would probably be cheaper... I'm really going to try and not buy anything for the car this week. Hell, I'm just gonna track her for fun and drive to and from work every now and then. WTF!!!!! I feel like Gollum (from Lord of the Rings) being drawn to all these add ons &...
I bought all the SPL suspension parts, lowering springs, sway bars and the loudest exhaust I could find. Had I known the 2023 would have solved all my suspension and exhaust needs, I coulda shoulda waited another month ? ?
My wife has these in her GTI and they fill the gap well:
