I think @Deighvid is spot on with this one! I don't feel as comfortable ordering something if a website is hard to navigate or not up to date. Unless it's a really specific product or service. @Jesse DaBears and Speed Industry were the only two that really went out of their way to keep me up to...
I have a great mechanic that could do the basic oil change. Or I could do it myself, but lost that excitement long ago... I think mine came with the Toyoguard's included 2 additional oil changes (meaning I paid $699 for it ?), on top of the 1st two free oil changes. So, it's a shame not to get...
Making me think (in a good way) to just make the jump to brake ducts and steele brake lines. Seems to be the natural progression if we’re really going to track these things.
That’s where the authorized Supra mechanic comes in ?‍♂️
I’ve heard so many horror stories that I’m ½ way joking and ½ way serious about letting the dealer do my 1st oil change. It’ll save a couple hundred bucks IF they don’t screw anything up….
Okay so we need to:
1) call a week ahead of time to make sure they have the oil
2) walk inside and see if they can lift the car
3) make sure there is a "Supra" tech - I've heard this one before
4) *fill in the blank*
No but I'll let you know how this one turns out:

The fact that you are doing this to your Supra, showing us the process, from your “driveway lab” is brilliant! I’ll definitely be buying something from you ??
Yeah cheap not the best word…. I edited it ?. OEM rotors would be great for track and shouldn’t be an expensive consumable. A good friend who won the BFGoodrich MX5 Playboy cup multiple times would always just replace ours with the pads because they were so cheap on our Mazdas. Always better to...
My last race seat purchase, a few local pro racing buddies couldn't stress enough to buy what fit me best. Sit in a ton of them! Sit in other people's seats at the track or a race shop if one is close to you. Makes a world of difference when it fits like a glove ?
Good to know! I'll shop those as well. I've been using a XGPS160 SkyPro reciever with Harry's Laptimer and have used Aim Solo 2 in the past. Both have given me really good data acquisition.
I don't mind wider in the rear. But definitely don't want wider (or taller) in the front. The 275/35-18 size has lots of good R compound rubber to choose from and will help keep the consumable price down...
So no real benefit unless I want to get crazy with alignment, mess with offset or something outside of my purposes. That’s what I thought and plan on returning them. ??
I’ve never kept rotors long enough to care on my other track cars. Maybe the Supra will be different? But I usually buy basic coated Centric rotors and replace them when replacing with a really good race pads. From what I’ve read from you guys - I’ll probably be able to keep em longer...
