I've just stopped going to that forum. That dude's been pulling at any single straw he sees to make some sort of noise because all the data that's been released shows the Supra is the better sports car.
I run Endless MX72s with Endless RF 650 brake fluid. Way better than OEM pads + fluid for brake feel on the track.
CSG CPs are the other popular option.
Dyno run today on my build thread. Good numbers for the JB4 on 92 octane. I'm gonna need an ECU unlock for some more top end power for the straights at the Ridge and Pacific Raceways.
It sounds somewhat like a supercharger whine, but it is the intake pulling in air. Unfortunately, the day was a bit windy, and we were going quickly, so that's the best clip I could get. I'll see if there's any good clips from my track day.
Got a dyno run for the map6 today at Drift Office.
They told me their baselines were 350whp/350wtq for a stock '21. Good gains on the JB4, but looks like I'll need to go full FEMTO unlock for next steps.
So estimated gains of DP + map6 were 35whp & 95 wtq on 92 octane.
If you're looking for maximum sound, I don't think this will be as loud. It doesn't seem to replace the turbo inlet pipe, from looking at these pics. Also, the HP and torque gains seem high.
It's about 2mph faster than your actual speed. IIRC, German law doesn't allow speedometers to read less than the actual speed, so some companies program their speedometers to read higher to avoid breaking this law.
Almost all my playlists have a couple of songs from:
Linkin Park
The Weeknd
Post Malone
Kendrick Lamar
beyond that, I normally raid NFS, FIFA, GTA 5, and Midnight Club: LA for their soundtracks.
I also have a dedicated playlist to the Witcher 3 & shows soundtrack.
Yes, I am a bit eclectic in...
0:32, 2:35, 3:10, 3:37, 3:50, 4:00 (probably the longest duration). You should be able to hear the induction noise whining over the air and engine noises.
That being said, its much louder in the cabin because you don't have the sound of air that's also being picked up.
Give me a little bit, I have some go pro footage (also a fair bit of road and wind noise, but you can hear the intake as well) where you can clearly hear my identical setup. Just need to upload it to the cloud.
