Could possibly be a tune thing? Have you asked your tuner? The fact you had a bad MAP does make me wonder if there's something electrical going on.

Scenarios:
- Theif already has the key, and is treated to a proximity unlock
- Theif is waiting for you to slap the unlock button
- Theif is waiting for you to get in the car
It SEEMS to me like most of these the proximity unlock doesn't solve.
It's only an issue on gen 1s. We don't suffer this problem.
There is absolutely no reason to change the chargepipe until you need to change the chargepipe, i.e. meth, nitrous, intake manifold, change turbo placement.
The factory location turbos aren't going to break this thing.
