It's only an issue on gen 1s. We don't suffer this problem. There is absolutely no reason to change the chargepipe until you need to change the chargepipe, i.e. meth, nitrous, intake manifold, change turbo placement. The factory location turbos aren't going to break this thing.

You have an easy unlock/tune situation, you should tune.
