  1. B58 JB Plus Quick Install Tuner ....

Owners manual says E25. (standard fuel in some countries like Brazil) Up to 3 gallons is typically fine. I wouldn't do any less than 2 gal E85
  2. B58 JB Plus Quick Install Tuner ....

Only situation that there wouldn't be gains from JB+ is if the fuel is garbage
  3. Help me decide please - she's too quiet & I can't experiment

just do some catted downpipe with the AWE setup you like the tone of. It will be loud enough. catless is the raspy part, so avoid that. At full load it sounds epic, but definitely like an exhaust leak at low speeds ?
  4. B58 JB Plus Quick Install Tuner ....

Put some ethanol in (2-3 gallons)
  5. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

And done. One happy MT running 22 psi (E25) smoothly no problem. Perfectly flat trims sitting at 40, leaving some headroom for fuel mixing and changing conditions. https://datazap.me/u/coloneladama/log-1728530549?log=0&data=1-2-4-8-11-14-15-20-25-26-27-28-29&zoom=113-202
  6. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Not sure why other JB4 tuners are still using other methods for tuning MTs when we can get it cleaned up instantly on a base map ? If you're gonna charge people hundreds, use my MT solution I spent 6 months figuring out and posting every detail here. Tons of duty bias work to barely push power...
  7. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Nice. Well if you aren't experiencing any hesitations or stutters, especially when temps change, then I'd just keep it as is.
  8. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Do you see the big throttle cut at 3k? Alpha release fixes that (provided wgdc tuning is dialed in). WGDC control for the JB4 jumps in just before it finishes spooling rather than after like on previous firmware. You may feel hesitation sometimes if you stomp on the gas quickly, that is the...
  9. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Not bad at all for an MT on non-MT firmware. Trims are a bit higher than I'd like. Any mods? Only downside is you are at like 2psi over stock until 4500 so your low and mid range is weak. (need v24 firmware to fix) Top end looks pretty solid. Under-boosting technique, looks like a Jesse tune...
  10. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

While I'm getting caught up here: Here's another good example of a nicely balanced 93/E30 map. Maybe a little left on the table for power (can sometimes get up to 5.5-6 psi additive), but it is super clean with fuel headroom...
  11. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

No, it should stay saved but you can create backups in the app anyway.
  12. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

You don't want it to hit target, you want it close. Typically keeping ecu_psi just 1 psi under dme_bt is most ideal. And actually some cars (including my own), I just ignore dme_bt if its targeting too high and just adjust FF/duty as needed to get ecu_psi into the range I want. 12-17 psi...
  13. MT revs upwards when hard driving in between shifts

Yep did it to me this morning on my commute as well. Annoying. Made me look stupid while showing off the car to a friend last month too. ?
  14. Front axle/nose lift? Is there interest?

This would let me actually lower my car or put a front lip on. Interested
  15. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Best I could do is spoof the IATs so high that it drops lambda targets lol. Fair enough, what did Burger do though?
  16. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Lambda 1 target ?‍♂️ nothing I can do bout it If it richens up, that indicates temps are getting too high. If there are a lot of corrections, AFR will start to dip.
  17. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Naw I have over a dozen cars running way more aggressive than that on E25-E30 with no corrections lol My own car is running the same boost targets/timing on E25 with no corrections
  18. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Curious, question for @razorlab. Is this an indication of needing new plugs or needing to be gapped? Really shouldn't be any corrections on these boost levels at E40 (which is too high for jb4 anyway). Only the one cylinder correcting...
  19. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

glad I could help, I think if you get down to e30 you could probably run more aggressive additive targets too. Most people I help on 93/e30 can get to +5 psi peak or a little more
  20. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

The Map 6 E40 additive was the best. However, I would recommend dropping down to E30. Not much headroom for fueling right now. Want trims to stay below 45 (40 if you don't log much). sometimes single cylinder timing will separate a bit, but in general your timing is extremely strong in that log...
