  1. Femto unlock problem

This is bizarre. First 2022 I've ever heard of not needing femto
  2. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Definitely room for improvement. Try FF at 40 and see if throttle clears up. Probably needs slight duty bias changes too, but we'll see after
  3. PPF Help

Xpel on mine. Looks new after 5k mi. Definitely heals. I've seen rock indents vanish after parking the car in the under the sun on a hot day.
  4. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Try datazap, I can't review photos
  5. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Follow-up for @Dven11 's car - we did a few more iterations in PMs, here's where we ended up (final pull specifically): https://datazap.me/u/coloneladama/log-1724965969?log=0&data=1-2-4-8-11-20-25-26-27-28-29&zoom=304-334 Definitely a bumpy road/traction issues but pulling super strong on this...
  6. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Posting a log would help :) It sounds like maybe you are on an absolute map? I find the additive ones are more consistent on trims.
  7. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

I figured as such. Thanks for sharing this info. I know you had checked cylinder fill/load tables of MT vs AT and saw no difference, but have you looked at the feed forward / PID stuff comparing the two yet? Specifically the tables you shared. Also hopes this shows anyone reading the thread how...
  8. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Yup, very true. Just in the case of JB4 - doesn't control timing. So our only way to keep load under target is with WGDC and boost.
  9. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

It should keep your revision but you can also create backups in the app with "save config" under user adjustment.
  10. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Yes, correct. At full load, the B58 is designed to use wastegate control for keeping boost on target. The throttle only intervenes when the wastegate is not tuned properly to keep boost under target. Its ok to ride the throttle a little, I usually say if throttle stays >80% during the pull, its...
  11. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Throttle closures and gets the boost down to appropriate levels.
  12. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Almost every MT I've done ended with FF between 15 and 25. Throttle is irrelevant of boost levels and timing. Its just used to control boost targeting when your WGDC tuning isn't very good. If you tune your wastegate stuff well enough, throttle will barely close if at all under full load.
  13. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Here's @Eastwood 's latest log. Bumpy road so you can see TC kick in a little (timing dip). Or an MT quirk that needs to be worked out... We'll see on a smoother road lol. https://datazap.me/u/coloneladama/log-1724878009?log=0&data=1-2-4-8-11-20-25-26-27-28&solo=2-4 Perfect timing otherwise at...
  14. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

This is called a timing correction - any step down from a cylinder ignition advance from the linear climb to redline. (ign1-6 parameters). just means that the car detects conditions for pre-ignition. Not necessarily knock, but it is how you know you've reached the limit of the octane. some is...
  15. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Timing is starting to separate in the higher RPM, so it is best to stay on Map1 unless you get your octane up.
  16. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Sorry, checked my messages and couldn't find which model it was. He said it was "good for 600whp". It is not much bigger than stock, similar to the hypercore. obviously not enough fueling with JB4 to hit 600whp, but I wouldn't be surprised if it could manage 500whp.
  17. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Yes likely there are some gains to be had with the Hypercore, though I'm sure it will require a good bit of WGDC tweaking since the JB4 curve is for stock turbo. I have done a car or two with a slightly bigger turbo and it held up pretty well. Definitely ran cooler IATs up in the rev range.
  18. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Great news to share! Many of you have heard about the "MT/330e V24 firmware" that I've recommended for a while. I worked with Terry at BMS for several months to identify the aspects of the V22/23 firmware that were incompatible with MT cars, and also found that it helped significantly with...
  19. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

FF can continue to drop until Throttle cuts remain over 75/80%.
