Cheers mate. The stereo installers scratched up the clock screen cover on my daily - it's curved perspex like much like the headlights so I'd suggest its a very similar process. It's not a write off but if I can tidy it up without too much pain, I might have a go.
Keep in mind that along with the manual transmission, 2023s had some upgrades to their suspension. Also, early models - not sure what model year it was changed - have lowered power ratings compared to the rest.
Early cars can be tuned without sending your ECU to Femto but as Phil pointed out, there are reports of oil pump/consumption issues with some pre-2022 cars. And while I'm not keen on opening yet another auto/manual debate, anything pre-2023 is dead to me. ?
With production ending soon - and...
Unfortunately, your use of the word "inferior" isn't as universally applicable as you pretend. I've driven the automatic Supra - It's "fucking boring." And while the nomenclature is relatively arbitrary, your reference to the word "supra" is at best, problematic.
I would argue that the manual...
In fairness, the car does feel noticeably different with an MHD Stage 2 OTS tune. Yes, it is plenty fast stock but having that little bit more (while maintaining reliability) isn't ever a bad thing.
Communication isn't Toyota Australia's strong suite. They're basically waiting for Magna Steyr to update its records - I heard this happens by the last week of each month so that's when I would call into my dealer. Also, just be aware that until you are provided with a VIN, your car is...
I personally think the hazelnut gets old pretty quickly. The black Alcantara seats are my pick and I waited 12 months for my perfect spec. At the end of the day you're going to have to live with it long term.. not sure anyone but you can really provide the answer you're looking for.
Yes - probably should've updated this thread earlier! Everything fits without an issue, although the exhaust tips get hidden which I personally think looks pretty lame. I had my pipes extended though, and think it looks much better.
That is funny because normally BMW parts would be far more expensive than Toyota parts! I guess Toyota needs to buy the part from BMW and then slap it in a Toyota box, give it a new part number and then apply a nice mark-up. Toyota is literally the middle man here. ?‍♂️
Impossible! ToYOtA...
The incredibly poor levels of reading comprehension and sheer inability to formulate rational and evidence based arguments by individuals in this thread is.. well, astonishing.
Well, that's what my neighbor says and that's good enough for me. ?
