Yeah, I looked into that. It looks like I can do it fairly easily but the US mirror seems to cost around six hundred squid. In my other car I just soldered a small wire between an after market remote and a small momentary switch; mounted it in the centre console, and for under $20 had a neat...
We don't have those in Australia. Aside from adding a button down near the lighting control panel, there is some room to add a button on the cover near the map lights but I'd have to run wires to the garage controller along the roof lining and down the A-pillar which looks like it will be a pain.
Pulled a couple of trim panels off to see if I could find a nice spot to fit a garage door button without much success. Does anyone know how to disconnect this little asshat on the back off the headlight switching panel?
Over the years I have noticed that Australians seem to have no real problem ripping off other Australians. Sad.
And here's an unscheduled Carsales update: Slight uptick in numbers: 25 cars for sale but still only 6 manuals available Australia wide. Prices all over the place from $120,000k for a...
I get codes after a flash, but they go away after a short drive or clearing them and they don't return until I re-flash. Unless you are self-tuning, you are unlikely to need to re-flash all that often. 💁♂️
It looks like there's some Australian unlockers getting in on the Femto action now. Pity they are charging over $1000AUD more than it cost to send it to send to Femto direct.. and that's before Femto dropped their prices. 😂 What a joke.
I'm just taking the piss, but I stand by the fact that driving a manual is a genuine skill and one that fewer and fewer people posses. And just as an aside, a lot of people who claim they can drive a manual, really can't as they seem to go though clutches like handbags. 😅
Honda has always been like this though. Every single Type R I can think of has always been at the slow end of the competition in its own time. Honda fanboys rarely accept it - Especially the FL5 folk - but Honda has always played the better driving experience card which in fairness does go some...
No, it's probably just to highlight that they have a skill the vast majority of the population do not posses. A shaved monkey can drive an auto. Manual, not so much. 💁♂️
Haha.. Yeah, they lost me as a customer. And I'm sure countless others.. but Rapid Designs seem to have sold enough to not care. What's laughable is that us who called out the godawful aesthetics are the ones who tend to get lambasted on here. 😅
And just for the record, I don't mind product...
Carsales update. 19 cars for sale Australia wide.. only four of which are manuals!
While there are still some cars in the $80k zone, a number of cars are being listed for well over $100k, despite being a few years old. And nobody has picked up the four cylinder abomination yet, either. 😂

That looks pretty damn good. When I last I looked into wrapping a car, I was told that installers generally don't wrap a car unless the paintwork is pretty much perfect and free from dings and scratches, because ultimately, they will come through and appear in the finished wrap.
Give it a good...
