I think you're onto something here. My experience though, is stranger still. With rev matching off, the shifts are OK but can randomly become a bit clunky - that first to second shift is really the only one I'm complaining about. If I switch on rev matching, everything works fine for a while but...
I was under the impression that 500-550nm was about the limit of the stock transmission. I'd be very surprised if there isn't an aftermarket clutch involved with those numbers.
Do you have a theory?
I flashed again today and while the battery CEL appeared as usual, the Oil one didn't appear until after a drive and engine on/off cycle. I suspect it will once again disappear after a rest. Instead of oil, I've had tyre pressure reading errors in the past.
I don't...
So I flashed to the latest MHD 98RON OTS tune today and sure enough, I got the 30E08 - Power management Battery below upper limit error and CEL. Cleared fine of course, but I also got this on iDrive.
Didn't clear on the drive or after a brief stop. I'm going to let it sit for a day then go...
Time for another random Carsales update
21 used Supras - 2 of which are dealer demos/newish. 10 manual, 11 automatic. Prices still seem pretty strong, especially if you ignore the bizarre 4 cylinder Supra that's been on Car Sales since forever. Looks like they can't give that one away, lol.
Yeah, who knows. It's weird but I don't think flashing is an exact science. I previously had tyre pressure and oil measurement errors on iDrive which went away after a decent drive. I think I also had the battery CEL once which pulled a weird code that I cleared with Bimmerlink. Maybe just...
I have the black universal MHD adapter - which is physically orange . And the last time I flashed I didn't get any errors - I think MHD may have quietly fixed some bugs in the last iteration, but I'm not really sure as I only really flash if the OTS maps get updated.
At that price, I hope the cable is long enough to wrap around the car twice, gold plated, oxygen free and infused with three different types of snake oil.
I know this is an old thread, but thought I'd just chime in by saying the instructions below work like a charm. When auto-rolling down my passenger window, it ended up a little higher than the driver's side, and after applying the reset below, it's now fixed.
And just in case it matters, I did...
