yes I should of clarified this. I put in my deposit and preferred order sheet to Toyota, and we’re 95% sure they will get the spec I want. But In the end it’s up to Toyota
Just for fun update, I was one of the ones who was adamant about having a manual then ill buy, well i put my deposit down with my dealer for MSRP on a strat blue manual premium. Should match my MKIV perfectly
Well wtf... How am i supposed to get a blue manual 3.0 premium then? the fuck is this shit toyota. Im not buying any other spec or markups. Seriously disappointed in this
This new blue is the exact blue I want. I do like downshift (kind of like the old baltic blue), but something that resembles RSP is up my alley! Cant wait to order my 3.0 Premium Manual with the new blue
walk away! screw the markup dealers. Working on getting on a dealer list at msrp for a 3.0 premium blue manual
and as for the guy above me, I said i wouldnt buy until a manual, well im trying right now!
Pretty sure this is fake. Sent this to my Toyota contact and he sent back a video of that screen and they don’t exist. Also land cruiser won’t be offered in the USA. So it’s not even accurate.
Only in manual for me! bahaha But it needs a clutch pedal of some sort. Manual without clutch is just weird
Talked to my toyota connection and he has no list up yet. Not enough detail for them to start it he said. No markup dealer though which is awesome
If you want laptimes and drag times, absolutely stick with the auto, but im going for neither of those. Im just glad we have a choice and I can finally get my manual. It will also probably be the last manual ever for the supra name before it goes hybrid or ev or some shit
To everyone sitting here dogging on the manual... Im glad you got your auto, now let us have our moment and let us be excited for a manual. Some of us have waited for 3 years 4 Years for this. Ive been in the supra world for decades and I for one am manual only spec guy and it will match my...
Just because it seems so many manual haters in here lately. Keep your auto, its really good in this car. But I am still going to be first in line for that manual option as long as its on the 3.0L engine. Its about the driving engagement for me, not the 0-60 times or lap times. Manuals are a fun...
Easy, I dont want a shitty subaru boxer motor ever again and I really dont want a slow NA platform. Especially for 7000ft above sea level. But what I do want is 400ish hp with a manual. Hoping to do that with the Supra, but the Z will be the choice if Toyota doesnt offer it. I dont care losing...
I’m still holding out for a manual. I really enjoy rowing gears in sports cars so I hope it comes as I am a buyer that would deposit today if it was announced. I’ll continue to enjoy my mkiv TT manual while I wait but I hope Toyota offers a proper manual
the funny thing is I was figuring Toyota would debut the Supra with more power around $70k-$80k due to inflation of the old model.
I’m hyped for a GRMN model. I just hope they can be purchased without greedy markups
this is the greatest thing I’ve read on this site lmfao. The dedication to finding some sort of decode for an s58 dual clutch is amazing. Also if this happens, I’m buying that one
