The testing they did was shown to be pretty unimpressive. Ambient temps were ~40° and still IATs climbed 20-30°.

Those aren't PI errors codes, they're just diagnostic codes. PI sounds like it was working fine, you just didn't need it according to your parameters. Do you have a log?
