I've installed several JB4s for local folks. Getting down to the turbo can be a little tricky, so it's all good that you went for the professional install.
Default supra knock correct is -3. So if it wants to pull -0.1°, it's going to pull three. Three is the min. Rarely is it less than that unless you have the knock sensors detuned.
When you're not on the throttle, you'll see huge amount of retard in all cyls. This is fine.
In the second the little bit of knock retard is almost certainly fuel. Better fuel would clean it up.
For things like boost, fuel, afr, fuel pressure, etc. You need seconds of data for things to get dialed in, and since throttle input is used for calculation, varying it will adjust the params...
The perfect time to have kids is never though. I have two, 13 and 17. They're expensive and a huge pain in the ass. I do love them, but if I never had them I'd never know them, and then wouldn't be worried about missing them. Ya know?
You get pulled over in a racecar disguised as a street car and you just say, 'oh yeah, this is a race car, we're doing a thing, testing, drag and drive, etc' and off you go. Especially a car like Mullet.
