As a side note, I know that there is a Bimmercode code to avoid the car checking the initial clutch (and brake) pedal press on start up, but.. when I coded it, it almost bricked my car, so I’d avoid messing with it. ?
BimmerCode (and coincidentally, all iDrive settings for that matter) appear to be a bit buggy and sometimes don’t stick as they should. I suggest toggling (coding it) it on and off a few times and your luck may change. The alternative and most likely solution however (as mentioned above), is to...
Our cars come with five year warranty so despite not doing so in your area, Toyota does have confidence in the car, generally.
No real issues after a year of ownership, other than being a little disappointed in the quality of the manual transmission. MY23.
I got my JB+ as a gift but it came direct from Burger Motorsports in the US. And yes, it works fine on all models of Supra - ECU lock doesn't factor into it; Mine is a MY23 (manual).
Ok. So, can someone explain this?
I have had the AWE on my car now for about 9 months and it sounded great from the first drive. But today.. well, it sounded.. even better!
I kept the car in storage for the past month and taking her out today, she was banging and popping and burbling far more...
Took her out for some breakfast with Supercars. And I have to say, those active Porsche GT3RS wings really make my little Adro one rather.. erm, inadequate. ?
I was just taking the piss but when I think about it, it's actually 100% true. The only reason why automatic drivers beat manual ones is because they have microchips doing the work for them. ?
And we can digress to absurdium if you like.. but why not go the other way: A car driven completely by...
I ran the JB+ at 2pm for a few months before adjusting the dial to 3pm in April this year. I run exclusively on 98RON fuel an it's been perfect the whole time.
Apart from having to remove it for service, its simply the best and safest bang for buck mod ever.
Yes and no.
I agree that there will always be some people who can and will desire a manual transmission. If you look at the trends though, production of manual transmission cars is dropping because as of today, less people desire them: One guy on this forum rejected the manual and waited for an...
I get that but why on earth would Toyota enter a new racing format using a car that won't be in production by the time the car competes in its first race? Either its a massive publicity fail or its telegraphing the continuation or release of a new model. Both of which are odd things to do. ?‍♂️

This is an interesting, if odd development. It certainly implies that Toyota is looking to continue selling the MKV past 2025/26.. or perhaps they intend to release a whole new generation?
Either way, it will certainly accelerate the depreciation of our cars. Ugh.
Again, it would be a strange...

Umm.. I'd be more concerned (presuming you had your key in your pocket) that the car didn't automagically unlock when you went to open the door. ?‍♂️
