So I took out my JB+ as I was taking my car in for a service and boy does it make a difference. I only drove it for a few days this way but I seriously couldn't deal with the difference. I guess once you get used to the extra kick, you just can't go back. What a great little mod. Love it.
For the price it's awesome. 3pm dial is the sweet spot for me. Which I'd assume equates to jb4 map 2 levels. (According to burger tuning)

I agree with Syeeee 3pm is sweet ... IMHO ... less hesistation than max setting ... and you dont have to run higher octane fuels for 3pm.

You shouldn't be running at max setting unless you run e25-e30 or 93+ octane.

I ran the JB+ at 2pm for a few months before adjusting the dial to 3pm in April this year. I run exclusively on 98RON fuel an it's been perfect the whole time.

Apart from having to remove it for service, its simply the best and safest bang for buck mod ever.

Did you have any of that partial throttle surging/hesitation issues that others have complained about?

Only if non-oem downpipe. JB+ worked fine, even on my MT, till I went catless. Then that ruined it lol

Yeah I just finished reading all 31 pages of this thread while at work ? . I was sold on this until I saw people with aftermarket DP's having that issue. Mine is an auto but I do have an AA catted DP

Honestly AA is probably fine, catless is the main issue.

Just pony up for the JB4 and its a non-issue.

I'm catless and no issue on 3pm. Wot feels smooth and no jitters

Bit the bullet and gave the JB+ a chance. Just installed it on my lunch break and tested it out a bit on my way back to work.

Car definitely pulls harder. Noticeable on the butt dyno for sure. I did notice on the few pulls I did though that the shifts were not as fast as they normally are. Assuming the car needs a little time to adjust?

Going to give it a few days and see how it goes.
