People on this forum has used the JB+ (not JB4) which is basically a boost controller and has seen good results.
I wanted to try something different and more user friendly. If this doesn’t give good results at the Dyno session I’ll try out JB+

My comment wasn't directed at your choice it was in response to @PikkaGTR question whether a boost controller will do anything.

"Not over powering but a decent boost"
Sounds a bit vague for something I'm putting on an expensive engine.

Just installed this and have seen peak boost anywhere from 24-26 PSI. No CEL.

I have a dyno session on 3/10, we'll see how this thing performs!

For background info here are my mods:

Fuel: 91
Intake: CTS
Downpipe: Kenji 200 Cell
Exhaust: OEM
Wheels/Tires: OEM
Clutch: OEM no problems
Mileage: ~2k

Are you still using this?

I have JB+ but threw a check engine light while doing some triple digit pulls in 90+ heat on the maximum setting. I cleared the code but backed it down to 70% after that. I have been curious about the Dinan

What fuel are you using? I have no problems with it using e30.

93 I have never used E85 at any ratio. Setting 4 was fine for 1k miles until that hot day and it threw a “manifold excess pressure” /limp mode at me. Didn’t clear either and I had to use BimmerLink to clear it.

Ethanol is hard on a system that isn’t 100% designed for it. The seals and injectors would worry me
