Seriously though, it's gotta be the horn itself if that's the problem. Fuses are blown or they're not, and the switch in the steering wheel is making contact or it's not. It's very much a binary thing, and likely the horn is failing. FWIW, this sounds like a warranty...
Yeah, if you do it right, you don't really 'yank' it. You squeeze in towards the middle. There are two clips-- one on each size, that hold the cover in.
JB4 + @Jesse DaBears and the downpipe. Intakes are just noise makers on this car. Save the cash unless you wanna sound fast, in which case buy an intake. I personally really like the MST, though fast stock frame turbo guys say drop-in filter with the stock intake.
