You've got a couple of things confused.
1. It's not the number of ports that determines if you're locked or not, it's the ECU date.
2. Lots of 6 ports are tuned (mine, for example)
3. Lots Some of 2 ports have swapped 6 port heads
4. Locked ECUs are tunable - you're just cheap ;)
