I know its not confirmed, but I have personally had two dealers tell me it is discontinued. One said they are no longer able to place an allocation preference for that colour and another told me it was only being produced for the next few months - which again suggests it will be dropped for...
That's great news! Although I still haven't had an email with anything bar the first dot filled in lol..
Maybe they could retask some of them advanced robotics to shore up their ordering and customer email system. ?
Yeah. I guess I mean from price point. It's funny how cars are priced differently here.
For example the top of the range Supra in my state translates to roughly $73,000USD. The Z4 works out to be around $100,000USD and the M2 roughly $86,000USD.
The 86 is around $31,000USD while the new Z is...
At this point, the only thing that would get me riled up is a targa announcement or to a lesser extent a modernisation of the instrument cluster. The current B58 is more than enough for me.
Someone else mentioned that like in 2022, MY24 may be a minor update - I think the B58 engine update is...
I was thinking about how Toyota go about their business and well.. I think it points to a definite possibility of a targa.
Here me out.
Firstly, I don't ever believe what Toyota says. They have mislead everyone before so their credibility is zero in my book.
Now I know its a long shot but...
I don't think it works that way. All those cars are a tier above and I don't think they much care for Supra sales. If anything, Toyota may increase their prices since the Z is clearly no competition at all.
This.
I remember going on essentially a press drive day for Peugeot where we were driving 207 GTi's around a track. I thought I was pretty good and in fairness I'm not completely shit but omfg.. we did a hot lap in the same car with a V8 Supracar driver and well.. I'm slow. Slow af. ?
What the actual fuck. I keep seeing posts of people keying cars, throwing shit at them and now sitting/standing on them. I love the US and travel there often but what tf is wrong with y'all.
A few years back I had the opportunity to drive a Lamborghini and a Ferrari for a day and they were both automatics. While the noise and power were both phenomenal, on the way home I was surprisded that I much preferred driving my pissy little Type- R with its manual transmission.
Years later...
While that may be true, none of that changes my statement.
A Good DCT is by and large automatically changing gears for you so by definition is closer to an automatic transmission. And even when using the flappy paddles, it's automatically depressing the clutch. I think you're going to have a...
So can I just clarify.. if I'm going to run 93 (98RON) exclusively, will a JB+ work fine? I'm not interested in adding extra sauce to the mix. Just pure 93. Every tank.
???
Good news.. finally!
While my dealer has been exploring some interesting solutions to making sure my Supra gets delivered without a front plate mount, Toyota Australia Guest Services called me directly today with their decision on my request.
After a few weeks of waiting, they finally agreed...
I'm not sure as I am still waiting for my Supra, but I'm pretty sure there is a setting somewhere in iOS to allow (or disallow) CarPlay while the phone is locked.
Maybe this is the issue?
Some birds do this here too. Sometimes at the traffic lights they hover around and just fly down onto the roof or mirror and do little loops till you take off. It's funny until it's your car and you realise they're using their claws for traction each time they land.
