Yeah I don't do it all the time.. just sometimes pulling onto the freeway on ramp I just let the little four pot sing all the way to red line. Generally, I gear down as needed, etc. I just don't think its that big a deal.. at least not in my naturually aspirated car. ?‍♂️
I've also never heard...
Hmm.. In my Type R I have been driving on the same clutch for over 200,000kms and occasionally I do exactly this: I sometimes leave it in fourth from relatively low speed/rpm and enjoy pulling all the way up to redline at 8600rpm. Sure, if the revs are way too slow you judder but if not, I don't...
Just as a heads-up.. I can't find the picture - maybe it was on facebook - but someone posted a picture of the Sto-n-show fitted without the plate. The Sto-n-sho ends up being way higher than the two plastic aero things (not sure what they are called) that are in front of the wheels, so I don't...
Don't write that idea off mate. When the sales guy pulled up my record he was in disbelief lol. I think he said it looks like it was built in February or March but I'm not too sure - I was in disbelief too! From what he said, it appears that because Supras are not built in a "Toyota" factory...
Also, does anyone have a Nitro with clear matte wrap over it? Trying to work out if this would be a good look. I've never seen a yellow matte before.. like ever come to think of it.
Wrong. It isn't about the missing climate control or stretching a little to change it. It is about the simply lazy ass poor design. Sure, it's not hard to reach over but the design choice has no logic, utility or purpose. It's just plain stupid, really.
Yeah.. I've been spoiled by the Type R shift for the last 15 years so I think we're on the same page. Thinking about it, I think everything was set to sport in the Supra and maybe that also added to the lack of finesse. Does turning off the engine sport mode setting perhaps change the throttle...
Now that's what I'm taking about!
And it's not necessarily about a screen.. it's more just something that is well designed and pops. I think it's hard to argue that the Supra dash does that.. but horses for courses.
I hope so. My passenger's seat seemed to be much lower but I'm sure it will work out. Just annoying.
It's just cheap and nasty looking. Even if I discount the recent trip to BMW where even the lower spec cars have a much more polished dash.. I'm coming from this office space:
The dead...
I am wanting to delete the "Toyota" and/or "Supra" labeling on the MY23 red brake calipers. Other than getting them resprayed, does anyone know a cheap and relatively painless way to make this happen?
I was thinking of remove the decals - if this is even possible or perhaps paint matching the...
