I experimented with this a little today on my test drive. I'm not sure about the throttle response but putting Engine out of sport mode (individual) made the car feel like it was completely in non-sport mode. I noticed that when I revved the engine with Engine in sport mode, the whole car rocked...
It looks like most are starting to get good news as things get closer which is great to hear! I spoke to my dealer today and its another mixed bag.
I have a VIN number (even though it doesn't seem to register on any trackers) and also a delivery date which is towards the end of May! I also went...
I've never heard of this but in the nanny state I wouldn't be all that surprised if there's some bullshit rule to navigate. If you go to the Vicroads website there are lots of documents on regulations, etc. Maybe give them a call.
Interestingly, according to the Australian Toyota press release website, the MY23 changes were announced on April 28, 2022. I wonder if Toyota is sticking to the same sort of timeframe this year?
In any case, beyond the predicted colour changes, the rumor mill has been awfully quiet of late.
There it is. Don't expect Toyota to change the car because of your bad habit! Putting a manual in reverse every time you park isn't right, I don't care how many manual cars you've driven.
First? Umm.. no. Second, sure. It looks like the car is highlighting some driving habits you should...
What happens if you take the clutch out THEN apply the park brake, then release the pedal brake?
No one is brave enough to say it, but this always leaving the car in gear when parked thing is nonesense - leaving the car in a high gear (with the wheels pointed towards the curb) only applies when...
From what I can tell, this just looks like yet another nanny dumbing things down for the millennial set. Rather than being a fault, could it be a matter of slightly changing your driving habit?
Does this solve the issue:
Come to a complete stop with the clutch in, car in neutral.
Keep clutch...
Does anyone know if this part - whatever the brand - is symmetrical? It looks like it might be but from certain angles it looks like it isn't.
I'm asking because I want to fit it to a RHD car and figure if it is symmetrical it will fit. I feel as if the cluster really does look like its missing...
A thread in the Australia section.
Yes. I've had a few salesguys here in Australia tell me Yellow is discontinued. The orange was mentioned in one of the Australian threads and seems to support what sales guys are saying. Of course, just as a caveat, the last sales guy I spoke to also told me...
Here it is called Silverstone Yellow and it is the Supra colour. Most of the marketing tended to feature the yellow.. and just as an aside, we don't have any 2.0 Supras in Australia.
This. I'm looking at getting the IND coloured caps but nobody can tell me if they will fit RHD cars. Surely the mirror caps are identical mirror images on the inside as well as out. Can anyone confirm?
