This could've been optioned here.. but ew. I don't think that would've worked at all! In fact, I don't think I have ever even seen one in that combination!
My emphasis. I think this is the closest to how I actually feel about the Supra at the moment. Granted, I have only driven around 1000km but I understand where @puppers and @Sharocks are coming from.
The problem is that for my money, even an ordinary manual transmission is leaps and bounds...
Sorry but the reasons given in this video are just plain idiotic. Now that a manual is available, anyone in 2023 buying a Supra in an automatic should reconsider their life choices. Unless you want unbridled straight line speed (I'm sure there are cheaper options) or some esoteric track duty...
I swear I took a look earlier but obviously didn't push up far enough. Took another look today as I was adjusting my rock guards and well, shit. Can someone please positively identify these as those damned spacers dealers keep forgetting about?
EDIT: They don't look like spacers.. ???
Only...
Not sure that makes sense as in our market the Alcantara seats are a $1000 option over the leather seats. It's all just marketing and positioning products to maximise sales and profits.
Completely agree. This and the new GT look very red in all the photos I have seen.. but when I take photos of my yellow, it looks wrong too. I always seem to have to add some colour correction to make the yellow look as deep as it is in real life. ?‍♂️
Yeah. That's what I meant. That bottom bit was a real bitch. Also, I should probably say thanks as I used your WD40 suggestion from another thread to help it along.. but it was still a pain in the ass.
?
I got there in the end but fuck me that was not a lot of fun. WD40, dental floss, fishing wire, pry tools and prayers.. I don't think there's any visible damage which is good, although Magna Steyr seems to have left me a tiny ding down to metal behind the badge. ?
And @Avarela99 This is...
I'm not 100% sure but I coded three things that night. I disabled the auto engine off function, I turned on the auto engine off memory function (I thought this was an obvious dick move, but anyway) and I tried a BMW code I found online to disable the must have clutch pressed to start nanny. I...
Interesting. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. The coding works on my car which is a MY23, built in February 2023. I'm guessing yours is an even newer build?
New anxiety unlocked. ?
But in all seriousness.. stop and breathe. You are probably stressed. Stop. Unplug the OBDII port, turn the car off and leave it off for a while, restart your phone and come back to it in an hour and try again.
A clearer head will prevail. Hope you get it sorted.
