That is one of the most random, highly specific plates I have ever seen. I hope you find a way to drive around town with that YouTube clip hovering over the top of your car. ?
Yeah.. here in Australia a 2019 Z1L is more than double the price of the Supra.. I'm tipping a new one would be more than triple!
I think the closest rival we have here would be the significantly more expensive new M2 or the even more expensive Z4 (no manual transmission here) or the slightly...
Not really. Some of us couldn't care less about the heritage. For me, the Supra is the only choice at the price; having the right looks, performance, feature set and as of 2023, the right transmission.
In fact, let me go further and say that for me, the car being in any way a Toyota (Supra) is...
I guess that's the thing.. we are attacking this car from two very different use cases. Sure, if you are eeking out every tenth the manual is useless to you - any manual is useless - I get that. But if you want to drive it on the road, those tenths are meaningless and are a non-argument for...
Yeah I get that.. but the Supra is primarily a road car. I'm genuinely not sure why you would buy a Supra for such competitions when there are plenty of faster cars available, if that's your number one concern. ?‍♂️
Yup. And this is the buyer's version of confirmation bias - I wonder if there's an actual psychological term/phrase for it? - that literally explains the constant worship of the automatic version in the MKV community. ?‍♂️
From what I can tell, this is the most common version of the story. I'm always on the lookout for someone who went from the auto to the manual and regrets their decision. Haven't seen one yet despite all the autoboys defending the ZF8.
Thanks. Having never experienced this system before, I was literally blown away. Finally a car safety technology that was useful, worked as it should, wasn't intrusive and wasn't half baked!
Not sure if you are having a crack but I don't own a Supra yet.. I have one on order and it's been a...
Ok. So this is going to sound dumb but can I just confirm that the Supra reads the signs on the road to report the speed limit? I'm coming from a car that is 12 years old and I just drove a new Toyota Hilux that did this and it felt like the year 3000 - I could just hold the cruise control...
Turn off rev matching and take some time to learn how to drive your car. And by that I'm not trying to be insulting, I'm just saying that all manuals have their own quirks and differences and part of manual ownership is learning yours.
