It's not recent news but here's the only press release from Toyota Australia I could find. Admittedly it doesn't say too much but least it confirms colours and also suggests a late 2022 arrival for the car here...
With people now starting to receive their 2023 Supras, I was wondering if anybody with a MY23 car has noticed any smaller changes to the cars that haven't been published in the official PR releases.. Things the coming reviews will probably miss. You know, the little things.
Minor updates to the...
Other than its front, I just think this iteration is just ugly af. It's under powered for 2023 and still only a front wheel drive. Incidentally, I notice a bunch of us seem to have gone from/are going from a Type R to a Supra.
Ruined my day? LMFAO, literally. A man is judged by his actions, not his SN.
You see, on the internet, in forums, etc. all we have is our words to stand by. You have chosen to just play a super dooper funny trick on the community you are a part of for your own jollies. Well done.
Bye bye...
Yo! Need to lift our game.. the meme's on the Z forum are heaps better.. I know they have more material to work with but still.. ?
And as a bonus, some are much funnier now knowing what we know!
Thanks for that. I had no idea how far the rabbit hole went! I like the old Honda philosophy: That Red H is either on a F1 car or on a Type R.. or some spastic playing pretend. ?
What's the next marketing level from Toyota.. GR Shitbox?
What a joke.
Not really.. it's a dealers job to try to maximize profit.. welcome to capitalism. Dumb ass buyers are who are paying more are literally driving the markups.

Yaris Cross? ?
Can they water down the GR Sport brand any more?
It just makes me keener to strip the car of all GR branding and apply those shiny new ///MKV badges!
While my crystal ball works about as well as everyone else's, I'd suggest that with the impending end of the ICE age, enthusiast sports cars like the Supra have good potential to hold, and given enough time, increase in value.
Manual transmission variants in particular will hold their value...
I too am guilty of this and I have zero interest in the Supra or Z lineage or "competition" or whatever else you call it.
Like a good train wreck, it is fun to watch though. ?
Yeah, I know.. It's always like this but the discrepancy just looks like night and day this time. I used to drive a little peugeot 206 RC (GTi 180) and it's Agean Blue actually looked fairly close to the Supra PR shots in most light. ?‍♂️
