Don't hate me, but I'm telling you a lot of this negativity in the press is going to disappear if the manual gearbox in the 23 Supra is anything but abysmal.
I haven't driven the Z but every car I have ever driven with an automatic transmission - and this includes the MKV Supra, Miata, 86, GTI...
I spoke to a stealer today and they're guessing the 2023 MTs will be in around March/April next year. No clear information about ETAs in Australia as of yet from what I can tell. Even the Toyota Australia website still shows the 2022 model - no MT listed.
Yeah.. that was my thinking too. Just curious about others' opinions. I'm a believer of buying once and buying it properly so spending a little extra up front makes sense.
Hello all,
Here in Australia we can choose what seats we have in our Supra, specifically the Alcantara/Leather or all leather seats. Just wondering if anyone could chime in on differences and which they think are better. To put things in perspective, here in Australia the Alcantara seats are a...
Cars are so subjective. I think the 86 is rubbish. I drove one a few years ago and apart from noticing how cheap the interior was, it put me to sleep. Granted it was an auto.. but still. More controversially, I’ve driven a Miata a number of times (really wanting to like it) but I hated it. I...
This perfectly expresses why I don’t get my news or reviews from social media. If this is the best YouTube has to offer, I’m glad I’ve avoided taking it seriously thus far. What a joke.
if you can’t watch that video and see the obvious agenda being pushed, you’re either affiliated and playing...
I plan on keeping my 12 year old Type R as a daily. Realistically though, I suspect after the Supra enters the fray, the Type R will become an occasional large cargo transport and I’ll just end up enjoying the Supra daily. ?
And so they should.. until the manufacturer addresses it. If it’s a cheap aftermarket fix, in bulk for Toyota this would costs cents.
Toyota need to be reminded and embarrassed about this until they fix it.
Lucky it’s not as serious as the fuel issue Nissan has ignored. WTF. ?
Nice save.. most consumer goods are just clever marketing but that’s different. Offering the same thing with a sticker has been a Toyota thing (at least in Australia) for a long time. They had Corolla and Camrys with “sportivo“ stickers to make punters pay a little more.. for the same shit...
I think that defeats the purpose of what is trying to be accomplished. Like it or not, the Supra is an ///M car in Toyota wrapping. I for one am completely ok with that and I think the current badge design says as much and also has a bit of a laugh at both our and the haters expense. In fact, I...
