Doing this whole process on your own you'll find out the pricing really isn't all that insane given what it takes.

GIven all of the fixed costs involved in the current process, it's likely not going to drop again soon.

The zietronix box doesn't appear to be water tight, buit you can certaily throw it under one of the cowls and be fine. On that note, I have one for sale :p. You can tap CANBus anywhere. Under the hood or in the passenger compartment.
