  1. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

it sucks? Of course, I'm kidding, I actually like the car quite a bit. I can't wait to see what people do to theirs. There are probably some short cuts, many on the interior, but we'll know more when we see it. Has there been an official MSRP announcement about it? I haven't been paying close...
  2. Russian tuner A2Performance crack and flash all the BMW manufactured after 2020 July

The fact that they can generate a signature at all, and reliablly is big news. Even if they're not unlocking and only flashing, this is a huge step in the right direction. This still falls in line with what Visconti said, as well.
  3. Toyota Supra Connect issues

So - sorta, but also, not really. I'm trying to imagine designing this whole thing from scratch (as a software engineer) and there are plenty of gotchas. Auth, but also auth tied to VIN, dealing with the car's SIM, the car phoning home, It's actually two-way comms, the car sends and receives...
  4. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

I gotta say, if the manual Supra were an option I would have bought it. I didn't realize how great the ZF trans really was before this car.
  5. IAT decrease with Versus heat shield

You can wait, I didn't spend all those years taking physics and thermodynamics classes in college to jam a sensor into an engine bay, I did enough of that in the labs. Or maybe I did. I don't really remember why I took all those classes.
  6. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

@Supra93 was that at least an IP ban? Anyway, I'm sure we'll recognize him pretty quickly ?
  7. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

Well. He's gone now. I'm no longer using the 'ignore' functionality. At first, it was whatever with him, but that purple emoji thing started driving me insane/triggering me when I saw it before I read whatever he was saying. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  8. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

He's the only reason I've ever used the "ignore" functionality.
  9. Toyota Supra Connect issues

Yeah, they really fucked the pooch with this one. It was fine, now it's trash.
  10. Tuning Locked ECU's Post 6/2020

Any OTS tune is a non-started for me. I can't even imagine doing something like that and expecting good things long term.
  11. Tuning Locked ECU's Post 6/2020

Well, sorta. Based on what Visconti is saying there, it appears that RK can generate signatures for modified software.
  12. IAT decrease with Versus heat shield

Oh yeah, you're totally right about how the turbo works, I don't think there was any confusion there. The turbo itself generates heat, I'm was not talking about the airflow through the turbo - I didn't mean to come off that way. But the heat that was near the intake pre-heat shield is now...
  13. OEM Front splitter pieces

Na, just that carbon fiber factory black piece replacement or whatever.
  14. Carbahn & Steve Dinan

Yeah, I gotta say, I can't imagine running an OTS tune, especially an ECU flash stock tune. Those knock sensors are.. important.
  15. OEM Front splitter pieces

Oh, 100%. Verus products are incredibly well-engineered. Here is the information packet on the front splitter. I also have the diffuser, the information packet is available for that on their website as well.
  16. Tuning Locked ECU's Post 6/2020

    Boy oh boy.
  17. Just got a 21. Have question

No way a stock stringer is beating a Supra. I said this before, but the tuned stingers are nasty.
  18. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

It's also just more fun, but agree. I'm also bowing on the track. There's just no competition to a modern automatic.
