That's the setup I currently have. I love the plushness. Occasionally I have a little trouble in tight corners because the cover likes to slip a little bit.
It's funny because I've never had any interest in Z's, outside of a 300 and maybe a Datson Fairlady, and I've been quietly considering adding the 400 to the stable.
Yes! Also, Madison! Come to some of the Chicago area meets. We're usually in the North burbs, so it's not that far. And you can pass through Rockford on your way and pick me up.. uh.. actually, skip Rockford. But come to the meets!
Actually! Rockford has those bomb-ass Mrs. Fishers potato...
Agree that it's bullshit in your definition of bullshit. What's needed here is some smart debouncing. http://www.labbookpages.co.uk/electronics/debounce.html, which is either implemented and doesn't work, or isn't implement at all (big oof).
Why why why why would you think the NHTSA proceeded with a recall here if it was "bullshit." That's such a goofy thing to think. This recall is going to cost Toyota/BMW a fortune and can have a serious effect on stock price (as recalls usually do).
There's a ton more Supra activity on FB, marketplace and otherwise. It's also where all of the tuners spend their (very little) free time. Might be worth having an account just for that.
I'm definitely going to do this as soon as Chicago area techs are no longer striking. I'm already locked, it's peace of mind for me, and if what all the tuners I know are saying, it will require another bench unlock when it's finally unlocked again. Little to lose here.
