The 2020 model year never came with any braces, and therefor the holes in the strut towers were never tapped with threads. So if you're installing it on a 2020 and don't want to mess with tapping the sleeves, you can just run a smaller diameter, albeit longer, bolt through those sleeves and...
I've got two sets of the Z4 Euros (which Eibach wised up and is now ALSO listing the MKV as an application for) on order right now, and am just waiting for them to manufacture & release another batch. So it's not just the USDM set that's on backorder right now.
I just accepted it as such a little while ago, and am going to wait on the major power-adders until I have a new clutch kit standing by on my shelf. I've been in the Import Tuning scene long enough to remember some other vehicles that had so-so OE clutches, and we just stocked up on upgrade...
I wonder if that @clutchman guy is a CM employee... Either way I'm very impressed with the pricing actually, and love the various options in holding power and engagement characteristics. That said, it is disappointing to not have solid numbers of HP, & especially TQ capacities of these offerings.
I feel like this conclusion is different from what people used to say, and when my 2021 did back to back dyno runs before and after a Titan catless dp, I picked up 21 WHP & 39 WTQ without a tune or any other parts. That's certainly a significant bump, and was very noticeable by the seat of my...
I've worked in Toyota's parts chain for almost 11 years, and I do believe you in that regard. All of those dealer parts websites just pull their part numbers and prices from a large database, then apply whatever the dealer decided in terms of an 'MSRP minus, or cost plus' pricing structure...
People are only posting because they're finally receiving the ones they ordered 9-10 weeks ago. Where did you "check," because internal dealer cost reverted to normal around February 10th and hasn't budged since.
Got mine out for the season! I'll snap a pic on lunch or something. Car needs a good wash, and wheels are FILTHY. Can't wait for to install the CF Ceramic pads for less dust on the rims.
Actually, MFer probably did drown even though the water only reached the beltline of the car, because he had his seat in the Detroit lean position when the electricals shorted out and it's impossible to tread water with two 40s of Colt 45 in your hands and a desert eagle in the belt
If you haven't purchased the car yet, why not just back out of the deal and buy a used one? Why bother buying the MT at all, unless you think you're going to flip it for a profit?
