Nothing wrong with the strut dust boots if they only look like that when vehicle is off the ground and strut fully extended. As soon as you lower it back down, the boot drops down and fully covers the strut rod. Not remotely something to worry about.

Dude, while I was hunting for the right picture for that post, the nostalgia hit me really hard. The awesome forts, treehouses, night games, turf wars, and insane Nerf & SuperSoaker battles we had as suburb kids in the 90s (I'm 36 now) were simply amazing. Anyways, back on topic mates!

Yeah, that sounds about right in regards to the oil consumption. Hopefully all goes well with the repair and the parts aren't too hard for them to acquire.
