Hey Jerry, congrats on the car!
This is kind of a catch-22, because the only way to have "less dust" is to have a less aggressive pad. Wear and performance go hand in hand, so if you like the bite of the stock pads, anything that performs as well will have similar wear & dust characteristics...
I have the Falken RT660s in 305/30R19 on the rear, and am pleasantly surprised by the road manners and wet traction level. I only put them on for the Real Street Drag events I was participating in, and they're miles ahead of the Super Sports in grip for that purpose, that's for sure. Not even...
Oh man dude, I'm so sorry it didn't work out. For what it's worth, I'm still pissed as hell that my Refraction A91 never materialized. I ordered it in December, the day after my 35th birthday, and was told it would be no problem to get one. Well, we all know how that turned out  Either...
This. It is an extremely common problem, and we have warrantied several of these. We just ended up just keeping them locked while they're in the showroom, and only unlock them upon request. Not ALL of the dealers are clueless on this ;)
Gotta hand it to you...this is the first time I've ever liked the forged carbon look on anything, ever.
PS: My Rexpeed CF paddle shifters transformed the driving experience, and I'd recommend them to anyone!
*The following is just my opinion, and said opinion here has nothing to do with the fact that I currently own a 2021 with a 12/2020 DME date. Despite what you may think, I am quite capable of being unbiased in this regard. ;)
Honestly, I'm getting tired of this notion, and I don't believe it's...
No two dynos will ever read the exact same, and the only important purpose baseline numbers serve for people like us is being able to have a starting point of reference for changes we make after the fact. Guys who sit at the bar (or behind a keyboard) and argue about their dyno-dick size are...
Only a Master Technician with Supra Certification can perform the recall, so they of all people will know about the battery charger/tender requirements. I don't see how that mistake could be made.
Man, this sucks. I feel HORRIBLE for you, and truly appreciate that you're being reasonable with the dealer about it, because I'm sure they're internally irate this happened, and in crisis mode with Toyota.
Keep us posted on how this goes.
Our cars are low, with a significant front overhang, and a design that makes it practically impossible to know where the car ends, even with parking sensors. Scrapes are guaranteed, even at stock ride height. I made peace with that notion in the first 24 hours of ownership.
Also, Toyota went...
I just made some new test lead wires, but haven't experimented much yet. Been extremely busy. Was able to plug my taillight connector into the WAA01, and see it function without the car freaking out, but as we all know, there's an empty slot in the chassis connector where that special turn...
It's tough to speculate just how likely a targa-top option is for production at this time. Tada has stated that as much as he'd like to build it, most customers become frustrated by how hard it is to store, and end up never taking it off more than a couple times at the beginning (like 95% of...
