  1. Shavings in filter?

Let's be real here, the factory fill oil has been tested to be good for at least 7,500-10,000 miles, even with the "abuse" that is likely to occur in that timeframe. In addition, I've NEVER seen any facility perform an oil change without changing the filter, no matter how sketchy you think they...
  2. Boost logic exhaust FS socal LA area

Bump for an absolutely SICK exhaust system! How opposed to shipping the wing are you?
  3. Shavings in filter?

Nothing abnormal or worth worrying about at this point.
  4. US Taillights (ending WAA02) vs Foreign Market Taillights (ending WAA01)

Don't worry, I'll go to town on all aspects & details of this for you. The most annoying thing upfront, is that Toyota has ZERO Electrical Wiring Diagrams on TiS for the A90/91. I was told I can only find them on the Techstream, while it's hooked up to the car, so that makes tracing the...
  5. US Taillights (ending WAA02) vs Foreign Market Taillights (ending WAA01)

Tail lamp finally arrived this morning! I won't have time to monkey with it much today, but will start experimenting as soon as I can!
  6. Supra brake pads the same as Z4?

At this point, I agree with everything you said.
  7. Fancy Supra

I don't wholeheartedly hate it, but it's an awfully strange design, with the GR being 1000% the wrong font/colors. Asking price is even dumber than the graphics..
  8. US Taillights (ending WAA02) vs Foreign Market Taillights (ending WAA01)

The only update is that the ETA keeps getting pushed back, which is not unusual for TMC parts these days. As of now, we're hoping for 9/3.
  9. Performance/aftermarket parts

OP, thanks for bringing this up. I've been out of the scene for many years, and also had little idea of where to source my A90 parts & accessories from. It's no longer like the days of learning about parts & vendors from reading every issue of Modified or Sport Compact Car magazines.
  10. I accidentally pressed my push to start button twice

I was just asked to be the guinea rat for my dealership on this recall...and I said yes. I still don't know what my DME build date is, and am wondering if it has to be removed in order to see the sticker.
  11. I accidentally pressed my push to start button twice

Mrs. Fishers are the shiznit!! I have a friend in Kentucky that won't let me in the front door if I don't have several bags when I come to visit. Yeah, I'll try to make it to some area meets.
  12. US Taillights (ending WAA02) vs Foreign Market Taillights (ending WAA01)

I have a Left Hand tail lamp on order, and the ETA is 8/27 at this point. I'll let you guys know as soon as it arrives.
  13. I accidentally pressed my push to start button twice

Thank God I'm not the only one that maintains this exact line of thinking. I'm already getting tired of having to explain to some complete morons (who somehow made enough money to buy an A90/91), that their recall isn't a "fake ploy for Toyota to get ahold of your Supra and erase your tune."...
  14. Who gets lip for buying a Supra?

    Okay Han ;)
  15. Best overall air intake upgrade?

Well, how do you like it? Does it sound significantly different from the stock box? Notice any power bump? I ordered it through my local speed shop connection, and don't have an ETA yet.
  16. Best overall air intake upgrade?

Nobody here has the Injen EVO2300? That's the one I just ordered, along with the SES charge pipe in wrinkle-black. :headbang:
  17. US Taillights (ending WAA02) vs Foreign Market Taillights (ending WAA01)

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/us-taillights-ending-waa02-vs-foreign-market-taillights-ending-waa01.9678/ We're on the case here
  18. US Taillights (ending WAA02) vs Foreign Market Taillights (ending WAA01)

I just discovered that Toyota actually has some of these in the US distribution system (not entirely sure why), so I'm going to talk to my Supra technician, and potentially order one to "test fit." I'll keep you guys informed.
