I’ve only seen a couple people mention their experience with MHD NLS and it seems like the majority have lost more boost using it than shifting normally. What is everyones experience with it?
If they already blended for e30 and then were doing a 93 tune, wouldn't that 93 tune be somewhat obscured? I can't imagine they would've fully burned off that e30 and that just seems like it'd be a backwards approach
I can't remember what the default biases are but definitely lower the boost failsafe to 22 until you start adapting the tune to your car and get logs to make sure everything looks healthy
I see you're also in NC so what shop was this? Did they also tune it on pump gas/lower e blends? The only thing I could think of is if they just put enough e in it to get to e30 and then diluted with 93, but I don't see why they would
That's going to be an issue with the dp or o2 sensor. Unrelated to having the jb4 unless you're running ethanol or bad fuel and it's related to the tune not running well
I had a couple of these lately while doing a custom e20 tune, but it was due to my trims being too high which caused it to go into limp. This specific code only came up 2 out of 5 or 6 times it went into limp though. What were you doing when this popped up?
How safe/consistent is blending ethanol yourself for map 2 & 4 without using a flex fuel kit? I plan to go PI/visconti reflex in the near future but I would like to run some ethanol in the interim with the jb4 I already have. I don’t think a flex fuel kit would be worth it since at a minimum I’d...
Right, but it still blows stock turbos. Get a custom tune before you start running e on map3
also map4 is e30 with absolute target of 20 instead of map 3’s additive 6lbs
