Anyone attending the vintage races at COTA and registering for the associated âHagerty Cars & Caffeineâ car show in early November?
I noticed the Corvette club plans to have their own car corral and wondered if any Supra owners are planning to attend...
I asked the Supra tech at my local dealership about mods recently.
He said itâs up to the service manager and Toyota. When we spoke about specific mods, he said cat back exhausts and cold air intakes were probably fine but commented I might run into trouble with a catless or high flow down...
Problem solved!
The issue happened in January when I owned the car for ~1.5 months and 1,500 miles. Six months and 5,000 miles have passed since then with no recurrence of the issue.
I got a chance to speak with the Supra tech at my dealership recentlyâŠHe said he hasnât seen the safety...
Golf carry bag, golf pull cart, and small cooler to strap onto pull cart.
I made a dealer prove it could carry a full set of clubs and cart before I bought my MKV since my son plays a lot of tournaments and I needed a âpracticalâ car to get him to his tournaments.
Now if it would only make it...
I keep seeing people mention looking for a tunable MKV but wonder if theyâre just looking / hoping to find one or if people are willing to pay extra for a tunable MKV.
Just curious after a local shop made a similar comment based on my Supraâs build date.**
**I was a looking for an exhaust...
I paid $150 at a central Texas dealership after getting a ridiculously high quote from another local dealer.
Service writer said it was the first Supra oil change paid for by one of their customers and he commented he didnât realize it was so high vs the $85 they charge for other Toyotas.
200 miles round trip to get my daughter a Pfizer shot when they were hard to find.
About half of the trip was on an 85 mph toll road where the Supra was cruising at ~2250 RPMâs / 28-ish MPG in 8th gear.
It was an easy drive and plenty comfortable.
Interesting thread. I have a â21 that used to lurch hard to the left under full throttle plus it seemed super twitchy at toll road speeds++ (75 to 85 mph speed limits). I could make it do it at will with the throttle and thought it was just how they designed it. Note: The rear tires also step...
That pretty much sums up my experience with my 2021 Supra.
When new, it was skittish at speed and lurched left when I stomped on the throttle. Had it aligned when replacing the steering rack (first one failed) and itâs like a whole new car. Itâs a dream to drive...Very controlled, great at...
I had my MKV aligned by the dealer when they were doing warranty work and it made a huge difference in the way the car drives. It was too twitchy above 70mph and it feels very planted / solid now. Iâm not sure what the values are but assume itâs based on Toyotaâs recommended specs.
Thanks for posting this. When I used the part number at the bmw parts counter, they referred to it as Carmine Red and I ran across these pics on a BMW website confirming the name matches the part number mentioned in the earlier post.
I wound up ordering it since it was $33 through the BMW...
EPS Rack = Electric Power Steering Rack.
My car had zero power steering assistance when it was towed to the dealership and the Tech wasnât able to get it to communicate with the car after fixing the safety systems issue. They replaced the whole steering rack and itâs been flawless ever since...
Following up on this thread since I havenât given an update after the first few days.
My Supra has worked flawlessly since the dealer made the repairs 2 months/2K miles ago.
After the repair, Iâve noticed it handles a differently (in a good way). Originally, it almost lurched to one side...
Thanks for the info...I'll keep an eye on it, but pretty sure mine was something other than battery since I daily drive my Supra and lock it whenever its parked. It has been good since the dealer got it back to me 6 days ago!
For the person who lowered their car...maybe try another dealer? I'm...
I posted this in response to a semi-stale thread and decided to post it at the top as well to refresh & expand the topic (to include power steering).
Recently, my 2021 3.0 Premium had between 7 and 9 warning messages popping up every time It started and it would reduce power steering assist &...
My 2021 3.0 Premium did the same thing. I had between 7 and 9 warning messages popping up every time I started up the car and it would reduce power steering assist & the locking of the rear diff. Eventually the EPS (electric power steering) went out completely and I had to have it towed in for...

I saw the white Supra prepped for pickup at Cedar Park as I checked out the red 3.0 Premium they had in stock. I felt lucky to see both since those were the only two colors I was considering.
The red sold before I decided to pull the trigger but I lucked out and am buying a different Red 3.0...
