That is part of my concern. I want the kind of luxury the Supra has, but I'm concerned the MR2 will be less well appointed and use many cheaper parts. Now I'm looking at a Lotus Emira. Just a bit faster than the Supra and VERY exotic looking!

I think it's more due to the Alpine having a Mercedes engine this year. Both Alpine drivers are doing OK.

No kidding! And those crazy pit lane speed penalties really screwed Russel. But then the team did screw up badly by not doing the 5 seconds at the pit stop. This team just doesn't seem to screw up this bad very often.

You'll like the Supra MUCH better. I considered a GR Corolla and did a test drive... didn't care for it as it felt cheap. Fast but cheap. The Supra is appointed so much better. Especially if you get the Bimmercode stuff and fine tune everything!
