Not my work, no. I'll re-flash an OTS map, not in a good spot to have it retuned by someone else at the moment, and it's definitely not going back to that shop. But yeah - you're spot on. They were rushing to get me out, did it remote by ??, on the street over dyno, etc.
The two week wait is over!!!
++ not having to send your DME across the world is always worth the price. Can insure the package too! Less risky. I wonder if you lived close by and called if they could squeeze in a same day unlock...
I'm sure they'll be swamped. Just in time for black friday...
There's not really any good upgrade options out at the moment aside from the ones you mentioned already.
There's a few MMI units that run Linux and Android, which you can install apps on, which may offer more flexibility. If you search for "Android NBT Evo" you'll find a few companies like...
I had the philosophy of "knowing my luck, if something can go wrong, it will go wrong"... and it did, femto sent my ecu back still locked, lol. Unlucky 1 and a million, I guess, but I don't regret paying to have someone else handle it.
Pretty sure we say "pay once cry once" pretty often here...
Good share - it's been a while since I poked around with things, but if you're looking to try a replay attack, I uploaded the pcap here:

Meh, understandable not being crazy about it and wanting it off or for it to chill a bit. I've had scenarios where I've either been at the gas station and had a cop pull in with the motor hot and have not wanted the startup roar to make an appearance.
Attention is good, sometimes :D Maybe a...
Interesting. I know mine has a 2 phase and my wheel (shipped from them) has a 2 phase airbag. Mine's a U.S. '22 fwiw. No codes/airbag light either.
Still worth reaching out though.

May need to do some research on what airbags are compatible. Could save a thousand...
I'm sure there's an update that you can perform with an istep update, though that might be a costly process if you go through the dealer.
General question, have you tried xHP first? It reflashes the TCU and might be a quicker/less expensive than doing a full istep update.
