Have you considered a current gen M240i / M340i (x-drive for either)? That's the route I'd go if I wanted a more comfortable daily driver that still had decent power. They also look pretty good. Only big issue with them is they depreciate like mad, but you could always take advantage of that and...
Just keep in mind if you are pairing this with deleted/covered side reflectors that if you live in a city/state that's really uptight about following traffic safety laws, in most US states it is mandatory to have some at least some kind of side markers/indicators (amber for the front) even with...
Yeah, performance wasn't really enough for me (to be fair, I'd driven my sister's tuned R35 and her husband's 500+ WHP 300ZX a few times and rode in them dozens of times and it completely spoiled low-ish horsepower for me), though I don't do much motorsports I just like to cruise and maybe gun...
The OEM rotors aren't actually 2-piece. They look like it, but are one continuous piece. I believe some trims of the Z4 have 2-piece rotors, however. The fact that OEM rotors from Toyota dealer sites are $200 or less a piece is further evidence they aren't real 2-piece units.
Aftermarket...
Only non-boring-commute car i've owned besides my Supra is the 370Z Base 7AT I had for a couple of years before it. Allow me to talk way too much about it...
It isn't even a comparison which one is better, there is not a single aspect about it that I liked more than the Supra. I spent a...
Last summer I went for a joy ride on a back road I frequent without scouting it first, hit a big patch of sand/dirt in the middle of the lane while turning quickly that wasn't there the last time I went out. Couldn't recover before going into a ditch. Fun times.
Don't seem to have any better...
Correct; from what I know, after all the cost-cutting at Nissan under Ghosn's leadership, he wasn't interested in spending huge money on the new GTR at first despite wanting it to be a halo car and proper supercar, so the original plan was to have the R35 more or less just be a G35 with a built...
Yeah people don't really realize that the more power you have the less you're able to actually have fun with said power on public roads unless you're gonna be a boy-racer and break every road law.
Even at mid 400's to the wheels I get to 60+ so damn fast that I don't get a lot of time to really...
Makes sense, BMW's (and the Supra) are so stupidly cheap to power mod compared to most other modern cars. The G80s are social media kings the past few years; every Tiktok / YT Shorts wanna-be shows theirs off, while 4-6 year old M-Lites used are corolla/civic new prices.
It's kind of always been like that for the 21st century. When you're the most popular performance car sold in the states you're going to get your fair share of hate. Personally I've never been into Mustangs because I don't like performance cars that are the size of sedans, and of course the...
As much as I wish that we can make this place enjoyable enough to where Razorlab doesn't have to burst a gasket every time he logs in, it is fun watching someone filled to the brim with knowledge go to town on people who know way less than they think they do.
I tell you what the GR GT is the first supercar that I genuinely dream of owning (excluding the classic "i want a lambo" dreams as a child), what an absolutely beautiful car, and I'm so glad Toyota went with a Viper-esque design and layout instead of just trying to make another...

That's what makes the Supra so great to me is that you don't see many of them and they have a totally unique look you can recognize from a mile away. There is a 4 cylinder "base model" that's cheaper, but it's more rare than the 3.0 and still doesn't look like ordinary traffic.
GT350 doesn't speak to me because there's a base trim in the eco-boost that looks almost the same from a distance that you see 50 of a day on your commute. I cannot remember the last time I drove home from work and didn't see multiple Mustangs.
That's not to say that I MUST own something that...
