  1. Roll Bars - Dashbuilt

Here’s the deal (which you’ve probably heard before). A good roll bar is safer than a harness bar. And conversely a harness bar is less safe than a good roll bar because a roll bar provides additional protection in the event of an incident in which the car rolls. My head and neck are worth the...
  2. Roll Bars - Dashbuilt

Anyone here have a Dashbuilt roll bar? I’m considering buying one. Would love to hear your thoughts/experience. Cheers, Mike
  3. Track-friendly upgrades?

That’s consistent with what I have heard since the founders came from Carbotech. Very helpful customer service.
  4. Track-friendly upgrades?

So, you’re also managing a bit more weight… 😜 Just ordered some G-Loc track pads. They will make the size/shape I need. 😁
  5. Track-friendly upgrades?

That doesn’t look good! Which car were you driving? Which track? Any tc on?
  6. Track-friendly upgrades?

Unfortunately, as you noted previously, track pads for the FE calipers are relatively nonexistent. 🤬
  7. Track-friendly upgrades?

Yes, unfortunately Conti ECF does not come in the sizes needed for the rears. Also considered the RE71RS. I think the Yoko is a better tire for where I am with this car and how I anticipate using it. My goal is to improve track enjoyment and avoid making the car unpleasant on the street. It’s...
  8. Track-friendly upgrades?

I found EBC Blue pads in the size/shape for the FE calipers. Not a full track pad, but again, probably a good starting point and as a plus they can be left in for street use if I get lazy. I have no experience with EBC. Anyone have experience with them?
  9. Track-friendly upgrades?

The process has begun. Sourced some TE37SL 19x9.5 / 19x10.5 Probably will try the Yoko AD09 in 265/35/19 and 285/35/19. Not the fastest 200TW but good communication, decent wet traction, and reasonable longevity. I think it’s the better tire for an experienced driver learning this car.
  10. Cover for the cupholders?

My 2026 FE came from the dealer with GR branded [p]leather looking covers for them.
  11. Track-friendly upgrades?

Thank you for the info. The more you know… I wasn’t planning on upgrading brakes, but we’ll see…
  12. Track-friendly upgrades?

Informative. Thank you. Odd shaped front pads. My track experience has been Porsches and Miatas. I don’t recall ever seeing a front pad that shape.
  13. Track-friendly upgrades?

Thanks for your input. I've found many of your posts helpful and informative. I was wondering about availability of good track brake pads. Planning to touch base with PFC, Hawk, and GLoc to see if they make a pad in the size/shape. I run SRF in my NC, so it's easier to not add another brake...
  14. Track-friendly upgrades?

Trying to defer a suspension upgrade for a bit. Although I'm mindful how much a good suspension improves the driving experience.
  15. Track-friendly upgrades?

Lots of good info. Thank you! I have very little experience with Supras on track, but have over 20 years experience with HPDE and amateur racing (Spec Miata, Spec Boxster, WRL, etc.). I instruct/coach with most clubs. My favorite track group presently is Chin. But many groups host excellent...
  16. 2026 Supra Final Edition Rotors and Calipers Part No.s

    Pics from my left front.
  17. Track-friendly upgrades?

Paul I live in the land of the SUV where road surfaces and driver skills are typically quite poor. An SUV is kind of a necessity. 😜
  18. Track-friendly upgrades?

WOW!!! Beautiful!!! After reading your list and your build post I have many questions and a few suggestions. I run the same Hawks on my MX-5. I’ve preferred PFC pads, but they don’t make pads for the stock NC calipers. Which upgrades would you prioritize? I’m in Texas most of the year...
  19. Track-friendly upgrades?

Hello fellow Supra enthusiasts. I recently got a 26 Supra MT FE and am working on plans for track-friendly upgrades. I want to start with upgrades which do not significantly diminish the enjoyment of the car on the street. The Supra platform is new to me and I am looking forward to learning...
