    I can't agree more. No matter how fast a FWD hot hatch is around a racetrack, it's still based on an economy car, the driving feel is nowhere near the performance cars with dedicated platforms, which is why I think FWD Nurburgring lap records are very pointless.

    "Was our inline 6 powerplant" Is that a good enough indication of Toyota's own CGI block inline 6? It may look like the B58 but that doesn't mean that it is. Hopefully all the components under the hood are made of high quality materials, BMW has a habit of using really cheap low quality...

    If the SF-R has 130hp and weighs under 1 tonne, wouldn't it basically be an AE86 but it's born in the present rather than the 80s? Imagine an 86 with Mazda MX-5's suspension, that would be f@#king awesome! :spaz:

    I think an MR2 makes more sense, but if the MR2 sits below the 86 wouldn't it be really slow? Or are they going to up the performance of the next 86? I'm not asking for crazy power though, just quick enough to have fun.

    The Z4 kicks out 382hp and 369lb-ft without the particulate filter. So Tada-san said 390lb-ft of torque for the Supra, but how much power? Surely at least 400hp?

    Toyota is still doing a lot of testing with the Supra. The ones in this video don't sound as good as the Supra at Goodwood. Yes I know some of the prototypes may have the quieter exhaust from the early prototypes and some are old footage from this video.
