So the G29 does better in Europe and the J29 does better in the U.S. What does this have to do with a possible GRMN model? I really don't know, I'm not in marketing or production development.
I'm not claiming to know anything regarding what goes on behind the doors with Toyota and BMW. All I'm saying is a Japanese publication with a good track record says it happening. Ok, so the bigger picture is world wide sales, which is probably closer to 50/50.
Idk where you heard that from but if it's true the GRMN won't happen until the very end according to Bestcarweb which has a really good track record when it comes to the J29. Maybe it has poor sales in the U.S., but the Z4 does very well in Europe.

Idk if I would phase it like that. That's like saying the ES is a better bargain than a Camry/Avalon because it has a nicer interior. Some people just don't need all the extra goodies. In closing, you get what...
Right, and I don't think anyone here is saying that you're going to see top notch leather on a $40k car.
I'm actually glad you brought up the 86. Quality should improve over time. The 370 was an improvement over the 350 imo. We'll find out how this new Z stacks up.
How so? A performance...
Yeah and I said it looks tacky and ricey. I then moved onto the best option for a cleaner OEM look which would be for the door to be one piece. You know the conversation kind of evolves..
Some minor differences but yeah.

It feels like we keep going down the same rabbit hole lol. The people that have sat in the preproduction cars haven't complained about the interior. Granted, those are the more costly performance trim, but I'll form my own opinion when these things ever hit the showroom floor.
