Nevertheless, my opinion still stands that the M240i will be a great Supra alternative with much more practicality with a smaller sacrifice in performance all while costing less to own
According to this thread the M240i xDrive will be $48,550 with the RWD model coming later, seems like a pretty good deal for the price. If the RWD model model starts around $45,000 with only a minor drop in performance compared to the Supra, it may take a chunk out of its sales considering it...
I am still ~2 years out until the mortgage is paid off and the still on the fence. I was set on an auto but considering I drive 1/4 as much as previously I think I want a manual. I have been very interested in the new Z because of the manual but if I am waiting 2 years I may as well get the G42...
Assuming that would make the A90 LCI SOP early 2023, we won't see the LCI A90 until MY2024. I personally believe that is rather late in the production cycle for such a low production vehicle.
It's almost as if prior Supras werent sports cars that chased lap times, there were even times where the MR2 was quicker. The A80 chassis is great especially after you remove the boat anchor.
The S2000 is a completely different class of vehicle than any prior Supra.
People, Chris Harris in this context, are expecting a car that represents the best Toyota has to offer. Regardless of how good this car is, especially at its price, it does not hit that mark as a halo/flagship model.
