Scheduled to pick up my manual GT in a month. The day is getting closer 😁 I’ve been tracking the price of second hand Supras in a spreadsheet. The asking price has slowly started to trickle upwards. Also the dealership management refused to throw in any extra merch, stating that the $4000...

Well I have a VIN now and it’s on the ship, so no harm done by Toyota I guess… Looking like a Mid-October pick up hopefully. šŸ¤žšŸ»

Just by way of update I finally received some confirmation that my car was being built last weekend. How long do you guys think until I receive the car (based in Sydney)?

Little confused as to what to expect, ordered back in November 24, not even an allocation or estimated build confirmation date. The dealer apparently has heard nothing - should I be worried? Ideally, I’d like the car by the end of the year.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Hopefully it arrives soon! How long have you been waiting now?

I ordered in November 2024 - I got pushed by my dealer to finally bite the bullet, citing internal information they had. They implied leaving it to end of January was risking it. They will take your money either way I think, considering Track Edition and final pricing is not out yet. Where...

While I wait for my car (nearly 2 months in and no news other than that the order has been confirmed), is there anything I should be buying in anticipation of collecting my car? I have looked at the licence plate piece, and also the carbon wind breakers off Amazon. Anything else worthwhile?

That’s crazy to hear! Can I ask how you did your plates? Would be cool to see a pic!

Hey all, just checking - when you ordered your supras and received your contracts, were mats explicitly called out? If not, did the car come with mats? My own silly mistake not picking up on it when I signed the contract, but I don’t want to be bent over by the dealer and forced to buy their...

Toyota Australia announced on their website the Track Edition will be available for order from January 2025. Pricing to be provided closer to then. It will come in a matte black colour - I expect it will be a third grade, in addition to the GT and GTS spec. I’d imagine they’ll want something...
  11. New 2025 High-performance A90 Final Edition announced for JP/EU/AU (No GRMN - S58)

I don’t think that’s quite right. The Australian Track Edition is the European EVO. Only reason I ask is I’ve ordered the base spec (3.0), but I’m not sure if the suspension and other tweaks will filter into the car. If not I may have to cough up the $ for the ā€˜Track Edition’.
  12. New 2025 High-performance A90 Final Edition announced for JP/EU/AU (No GRMN - S58)

I’m curious to know if the partially upgraded Supra is just the stock 3.0 - for context, in Australia we only get the 3.0, but it comes as a base model and as a premium model - with slight changes to rims, HUD and rims. has anyone worked out where the partially upgraded version applies to both...
  13. New 2025 High-performance A90 Final Edition announced for JP/EU/AU (No GRMN - S58)

So is the partially upgraded Supra just the standard 3.0 version?

Honestly, I’m kind of happy to wait for it. For context, I’m 27 and fairly new to the workforce and it’s totally a financially reckless decision and I acknowledge it makes me probably look dumb as rocks to most people. I am trying to work up as much cash as possible so I’m not drowning in debt...

Also, as annoying as anecdotal evidence goes, I was on a boat with a former executive at Toyota Australia who claimed the GRMN would definitely be coming, but this was in early 2024. I was subsequently told if it did come it would be a Japan only special. I’m not holding my breath either way...

You raise really great points and I totally agree. I don’t think a MKVI is in the cards just yet either. There’s been no spy footage or credible information on it (unlike the Honda prelude which is tested on track but still a few years away). I went with absolute zero white - if I had a choice...

Interestin interesting to hear, Drive.com.au has reported that Toyota Australia has filed its IP rights over the ā€˜Toyota Supra GR Track’ name. Which could mean it’s just another version of the 45th edition for Australia (being the 46th model), or nothing at all. This occurred last week. It...

Does that have a novelty perk or any other benefit?
  19. The Official AUSTRALIAN Thread

I got nudged by my dealer to place the order last week (I’m in the middle of house hunting so the car has to come after). I signed and placed the deposit yesterday. no news on an estimated build date but they’re expecting it in November 2025. Running a tight race here guys, wish me luck ?
