  1. Oklahoma Supras Callout

I'll be down there this summer or fall, OKC area.
  2. No upcoming STI until electric

The Supra ruined me. When the WRX is done I'll probably get a truck, especially since I'm moving to OKC this year. Anything else remotely utilitarian feels like such a letdown to drive, so a truck feels equivalent to a WRX to me now if there's no snow to drift through :)
  3. No upcoming STI until electric

I bought a '17 WRX new with the intention of trading it in on a next gen STI which was supposed to be just a few years out. After 70K miles and no STI in sight, I decided to make the WRX my winter car and buy the '21 Supra for three season fun. I'm pretty happy with the combo for northern NYS...
  4. Looking for Magnaflow X-Mod with stock downpipe (sound/video clips)

Yes. In retrospect, I wish I had just bought Bimmerlink. Bimmercode is good for permanently changing ASD and auto stop/start, but Bimmerlink lets you adjust those settings at will and the car keeps those settings on what you set anyway. I haven't touched Bimmercode since I bought Bimmerlink.
  5. Looking for Magnaflow X-Mod with stock downpipe (sound/video clips)

The first time I did it I used bimmercode like others, but after the dealer brake recall reprogramming, I used bimmerlink, which lets you turn it on and off easier.
  6. Looking for Magnaflow X-Mod with stock downpipe (sound/video clips)

I randomly found someone running magnaflow and stock DP on the highway. We exited the highway and compared sound. He was running a muffler on the open side and the delete on the valved side. It sounded amazing on and off the road. My high flow catted DS-1 downpipe and stock exhaust didn't sound...
  7. Intake and catless downpipe without tune!

Update: when I started bimmerlink to clear the codes, the gauge for the turbo read ~15 PSI at idle, even after starting and restarting the engine. After I cleared the codes, it went back to zero. the next couple drives were uneventful even with hard accelerations. No codes thrown. So, no more...
  8. Intake and catless downpipe without tune!

I used Bimmerlink to retrieve the codes. It has no tune or jb4; It's stock other than the intake and downpipe. The only other difference from stock is I put in 5w-30 a few weeks ago but I'd been driving for a half hour so that doesn't seem relevant. Before this happened, there was nothing...
  9. Intake and catless downpipe without tune!

I'm dropping into this thread because I got this error tonight. DS-1 downpipe, MST v2 intake, no tune. 6th gear pull, 35F outdoor temp, 93 octane fuel, and at around 120, the following errors were thrown: 120208 "Boost pressure control, plausibility: pressure too high" 120408 "Boost pressure...
  10. "LIMIT" icon?

No, only "Off" gets rid of it. The icon looks dumb sitting there useless, and using the set button to apply the current speed limit is not that big of a draw for me, so I opted for off. I can just imagine a meeting where some engineer passionately defended this change as logical and necessary...
  11. "LIMIT" icon?

I found it. Maybe something changed in how they display stuff because all the settings in safety are what I remember setting them to. The icon toggles on and off in this menu: "Off" turns it off, while the other two have it on. I was on "adjust manually", which I prefer.
  12. "LIMIT" icon?

Nav seems fine, or at least it's loading/functioning. I haven't navigated anywhere, but I did have it showing the map when I was driving last night. There's no other messages/warnings anywhere. I'll see what it does when I drive it this evening. The icon was there through two startups.
  13. "LIMIT" icon?

Is this a new thing after the break recall reprogramming? I just noticed it this morning after a cold start and I don't remember seeing it before. I just had the recall done less than a couple weeks ago. Any idea what it means? Cold? Low fuel? What is being limited?
  14. Sensitive automatic braking?

My Supra started to not let me back into my upward sloped driveway because of leaves on it. The clearance is normally close but I don't have to be paranoid. I turned off the park assist / reverse camera after the braking and it let me go. The people waiting for me to back into my driveway...
  15. Looking for reliable power build advice

That's good info that fills in some meth blanks for me, thank you. I'm another nocturnal 21 Supra software engineer, but I'm one of the lucky 21s with a March '20 build date. Just out of curiosity, how do you manage to not daily the Supra and go through that much meth under those parameters...
  16. Looking for reliable power build advice

My current thinking is it's mostly one less thing to deal with. If I can get my goals without an extra tank to top off, I'll be happier. If meth is going to improve longevity better than, say, an intake manifold PI upgrade, then I'd consider it. How much of a hassle is meth for you? Consumption...
  17. DS-1 internal O2 spacer

I think you'd just need a regular spacer. This one is welded in place, so it's a sneaky spacer. Maybe it works better than a regular one? Or maybe it is just to keep relatively factory placement? I'd be interested to hear CG Precisions reasoning for going with this style.
  18. Looking for reliable power build advice

I'll keep that in mind, thanks. Octane/meth/e is all off the table for long term as things stand now. PI/intake manifold is definitely on the table to match with the turbo. I wish I were closer to other Supra drivers with different turbo sizes. I'd like to feel the difference in behavior in the...
  19. DS-1 internal O2 spacer

I was installing the DS-1 last night and noticed the post-cat O2 sensor has what looks like an internal O2 spacer. I've never seen this mentioned. Is this common on other downpipes? Basically it's an elbow that points towards the downpipe outlet. I'll be getting tuned in a few weeks so it's...
  20. Is this ds-1 downpipe flange weld a problem?

I wish I could have waited for the spring shipment from you guys. I'm not as worried about warranty work at this point. Your company was good to work with, though.
