  1. What is an absolute needed change for time/grip track use?

At the very minimum I'd change brake fluid. I can confirm that I had to back off for a couple of laps to get the fluid time to recover, like dzeleski said. The tires also aren't the best, but the track is a good place to use them up.
  2. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

Verus Engineering solved that issue for $185.
  3. Pacific Raceways WA Complimentary HPDE

I can't recommend ProFormance at Pacific Raceways enough. It was an incredible time. I was extremely nervous since I drove 3.5 hours to get here and didn’t know what I’d do if I shortened the car. Sitting there in the fog there was quite a bit of self-talk, that was, take it slow, focus on what...
  4. Pacific Raceways WA Complimentary HPDE

The good thing is that it isn't snap oversteer. I have had a few power oversteer situations already, but it is really easy to correct. I almost had myself talked out of it, but since it is going to be dry the day before and day of, I think it will be ok. I'll be in the novice group, and really...
  5. New (and old) SupraMKV members say hello!

I'll be getting my oil changed at the local BMW shop at around 2700 miles tomorrow.
  6. Pacific Raceways WA Complimentary HPDE

Thank you for the warnings, I'll take it easy then. I don't expect a novice group to have much overtaking and all that much speed to be honest. I am just excited to get some training to become a better driver.
  7. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

I am just happy there are people out there that enjoy the same cars I do. I don't even care if you ever owned a Miata. ;) It is not about the ability to select the gear I wanted to, it is more about how I am engaging with the car, how much communication I get and how much ultimate control I...
  8. How Many Miles On Supra?

2664 miles, bought it in Sept.
  9. AT & MT Feedback Needed

I own a premium 3.0 and would trade mine for a manual. I believe that we should have something to celebrate in July.
  10. Manual Supra pricing

I would venture a guess that it would be less expensive than the Automatic. To me the Z isn't an option. They are using old technology in that car from what I am able to tell. Goshen didn't do them any favors and put them behind the curve.
  11. 2022 Supra Locked DME ?

Please someone do it! I want to see how fast a Supra with a laptop in the passenger seat is. The teardown of the B58 by Papadakis Racing is part of the reason I bought one. 2020 Supra B58 Engine Teardown - First Look - Better than the 2JZ? - YouTube
  12. Just a yes or no lol

Mine had the recall done before it was delivered to the dealer. No issues and I am at about 3000 miles.
  13. 2022 Supra Locked DME ?

What would the cost for a standalone ECU be? That would solve the locked issues, for sure. I am taking mine to the track next month, but I am probably going to keep it fairly stock so I can enter it in showroom stock for AutoX.
  14. 2022 Supra Brake Hold Function

My wife sold her GLC43 to buy the Supra. We are trying to order a GLA45, but stupid chip shortage has prevented that.
  15. 2022 Supra Brake Hold Function

Sweet, I was wondering if it had that. Not as easy as my MB where I just give the brake some extra pressure, but I'll test it out when the snow clears. My 2011 X5 had that feature too, but it was a dedicated button by the gear selector.
  16. New (and old) SupraMKV members say hello!

Hello all. I have been lurking for a bit but decided that it is time to say hello. This is actually my wife's car, but I get to drive it from time to time. We have a '21 Premium 3.0 in Tungsten. It is a blast to drive, and I have had nothing but positive reactions to it. Someone commented that...
