2.0 Valved Exhaust Stock?

Hey all, was washing my 2.0L Supra (which I never noticed any exhaust sound difference from sport vs normal etc) and saw a exhaust valve motor and valve itself. Does this valve actually work on the 2.0? Never even knew they had it.

Yeah on normal mode the valve will be closed. Turning on sport mode will open up the valve and will make the car have a few subtle pops.

Yeah I always noticed the pops but never any actual exhaust tone being louder and quieter.

It's based off the 3.0 so they use the same parts.

It should work. For normal mode and even cold starts in sport mode. If you have a JB4 it'll change when the valve works i think. Lot of us just unplug it or use the bmw m performance plug to have it always open.
