Dear SupraMKV community, this thread is made in appreciation of those in this community who helped me overcome my DME situation. My gratitude to those who posted about this problem before, to the BM3 administration that reached out to help me, Jordan Tuned for supplying my E85 Tune, and especially to John Visconti at @visconti for fixing my DME and sending it back to me in one day. Here is what happened:
1. Purchased BM3 and Custom E85 Tune from Jordan Tuned.
2. Analayzed DME and found BENCH locked.
3. Attempted 91 Octane test flash.
4. Flash failed at 2%.
5. Contacted John Visconti and fixed the DME.
I had purchased the car from a used car dealership in May. There was most likely a pre-installed tune on the DME from what John told me about the flash counter being at 19 counts. The car was probably tuned and had been taken to the dealership for a recall previously to where the DME was once again BENCH locked. My attempt to do the test flash failed probably because of that, although the actual reason is not clear.
I am very happy to found you all in this forum because I was turned to John Visconti early on and he knows what he is doing. John even called to confirm the history of my car and helped when there were other concerns. The car is back on the road and stronger than ever. Thank you all again and I hope this thread serves to help someone else as this forum already helped me. God bless.
