I got to speak to a Toyota rep today and the process so far is that they’ll flatbed the car to the local dealer, inspect it, and if the weld is not within spec, they’ll replace the car. The car will be “destroyed”. As for aftermarket modifications, ie paint protection, wheels, etc... he had no information regarding that yet, but said he would get back to me by Thursday.

BS!! most likely they wont destroy the car..maybe add couple bolts and resell it again. destroying a brand new car is A LIE!!! lol..

maybe part out???? i dont mind getting a free set of red leather seats. ;o
